  • Oh Ms LW. Yous bin inn the Forest. And you got out. Be car full of the wild boars there! Them wobbleade emporiums may look nice, but that Freeminer pop is a tad lively! Oh them boars, they be let loose around there this time of year to eat up the fallen acorns and nuts. That is good for the wood and us as well.
Then I can only thinks of mes Bacon and Egg banjo!

Ms Frith. Stopped and flagged over inn her wheels by her lad. I would had pipped and gestured back. Oh, did that when BoPsie cycled to Chester years back. Not changing mes manners now!

Can’t believe how close BoP runs his no paying interest piggy bank account to the wire, but it has this very morning not a penny in it. Better earning justs no pennies at the society of bricks than in their greasy palms! It does not earn much there. Well not enuff to give BoPsie her whine! Still, bettar than note. Pennies are arriving as I eat mes cakes of Jaffa the now! Has to gets the wobbleades inn somehow.

There, as for the pennies, I has the moneys to spend in the Next BoP Tour in the Society of Bricks!

Now that is the pennies sore ted, don’t forget rule of BoP for xmas. Give everyone the same, pen and a diary. Diary has mes birthday inn it. Same as dear old nana BoP!

Now on to other things inn your version of the Life of BoP!

Raffles who was well off his foods this weak, is back to normal. He hads his fleas treatment last evening.

Thinks mes has found a Marylin to watch this nite, I wills be tucked up withs mes slippers, wobbleades and a bit of cheese as well! More tomorrow. Oh, tomorrow is snorker fest day as well! Rite on for the weakened.

Ignorance does not disprove the truth, but acceptance of the lies compounds the myths.
  • Well firstly, what a long and wet week it has been, the floods people are experiencing look terrible....hope everyone is safe and dry.

    So first pleasure has to be;

    1. It's officially 55 minutes until the weekend starts (for me anyway) and its stopped raining for now.

    2. Movie night tonight, me and Mr. M are going out for dinner and then to a small local independent cinema which we much prefer to the larger cinema chains.

    3. There's a bottle of wine in the fridge with my name on it and a few beers with Mr. M's name on it for when we return....which no doubt we shall drink whilst putting the world to rights and listening to music.

    4. Dogs walked at lunchtime, as per normal, and yet again we managed to dodge the rain.

    5. Had some late nights this week so looking forward to a bit of a lie in (well later than 7.30am anyways), so before work changed the bedding...that is one of life's greatest pleasures IMO, climbing into freshly laundered linen sheets and turning off the alarm clock.

    Happy Weekend everyone x

Bedtime. Another late night by my standards;)
Been out gallivanting at a musical concert at our church. Was rather good, friend picked/dropped me off.

Lovely walk to work. Lovely walk home. The bit in between was okay.

Popped into see friend on way home and had a good chat with her.

Hello doggy. Lovely to see you.

I was obviously more dressed up than normal ‘are you going out?’asked the boy. Yes son I am. Made him an omelette because I’m nice.

Caught up with a few people at church which was mainly nice.

May have got chips and cheese on way home...may end up regretting it at 2am

    A rather quiet day today.

My 4th attempt to post this as it keeps jumping around the screen and deleting one or all paragraphs! In short:

    1) Good sleep.

    2) Good hens.

    3) Nice lunch.

    4) Nice Ludlow with no purchases (except tuna and carrots).

    5) Nice views on the way home.
  • Oh yes BOP the Forest is amazingly beautiful at this time of year and not a single wild boar in sight, sadly! Lovely pub at Longhope will get our custom again and again if the food is always the standard it was for our lunch, delicious!

Went to the forest again last night, this time to an auction in a different village, eye opening to us as we're used to Hampshire prices and last night they sold a couple of grandfather clocks for £10 each. The highest price while we were there was £75 for a TV but most things were under £10 including a working 'meat jack' which went for £6!

Family, we sat the baby in the morning as DD1 had a hairdressing appointment, they came with us to the auction and then we all came here for supper and had Chinese, just chatted and played with the baby until she went to sleep and it was so very lovely!

Rugby this afternoon, Saracens so we'll likely be obliterated but still worth going. Cold enough here to need thermals, sheepskin gloves, boots, a real wool blanket to wrap up in and a flask of hot tea for half time.....going to enjoy it anyway!

Hot water bottles that comfort cold feet and give you a lovely warm bit to sit on when you first get into bed on a cold night, brilliant invention!

The people I meet when I'm on the till in the shop, there are some lovely folks around.
  • Afternoon all, another wet and miserable day here.

    Today's pleasures.

    1. Hubbies face when I asked him if he fancied some snorkers tomorrow ....priceless, clearly his translation of snorkers was different to ours.

    2. Stew bubbling away in the slow cooker.

    3. Next weeks meal plan done....now just got to go shopping to get what we need for the plan.

    4. Wrapped a few Christmas pressies.

    5. Very grateful to be warm, dry and cosy. Feel so very sorry for those affected by the floods

Hello. Been a blooming cold day here however had I not been working I’d have had a load of washing out for a good blow as it was a tad breezy in a blooming cold way. However I was at work so it never happened:)

Been rather tired today. Maybe my late nights catching up? Had more than a snoozette this afternoon. Woke up and it was dark and I’d to think where I was.

Work. Was worked. 50p tips ...shall try not to spend it in the one shop! It’s gone in the jar with the rest!

Walked to and from with DD2 ...we had a pre-brief and then a de-brief!

Dog had a more than snoozette on my legs when I was having my more than snoozette, I was seriously overwhelmed with tiredness. Had to force myself to wake up.

Nice chat with niece on phone. Baby could hear me and was looking for me & Doggy could hear me say his name and was looking for baby!

All by myself. Son climbing in the snow and DD at work. Biscuit for tea!
  • 1 I’ve found an exercise class I enjoy, I’m hoping I can keep at them, it’s hard to convince myself to go out into the cold.
2 DH has been talking to the chap who bought the old car, and the chap is so happy with it, it’s nice to see as it’s been just sitting on the driveway the past year sorned.
3 Tiling has started in the kitchen, ahh the joy of grouting lays ahead.
4 Oven cooked fish and veg for dinner.
5 Had a rummage around and found a can of Valspar white gloss, I’m glad we hopefully don’t need to spend out on new, I need to set to doing the doorways.

  • A day of two distinct halves, up early and cleaned house from top to bottom or should I say back to front (bungalow), swept leaves, batch cooked etc. And now sat relaxing, watching the footie and planning to sit doing not a lot for the rest of the day.

    Pleasures.

    1. Sparkly clean house, washing and ironing done, leaves swept up....although newly fallen leaves replaced them almost as soon as I had finished.

    2. Home made scotch eggs made to go with next weeks pack ups.

    3. A bright sunny day, albeit cold....NO RAIN!

    4. Made some more kitchen cleaner, bathroom cleaner and floor cleaner.

    5. Sunday roast prepped all ready to be cooked after the footie finishes
