Bit bleary eyed this morning after being up half the night with a poorly little dog but happy that she is ok now,

    Thursday pleasures,

    Another warm, sunny day.

Riding the beautiful grey one, we both felt a bit cba in the heat so just meanderd about.

Having a cool shower and putting on a sundress, I’ve such an equestrian tan!

Out to the farm shop and found a rare parking space in the shade.

    Watched Ambulance, such compassion.

Ambulance is just fab - did you whoop when Winnie was still alive? But poor Jordan :(

    Take care of you, Nargle

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Typing typing, building my last chapter... had enough, fed up with the whole thing now but I've come too far to only get this far (my current mantra)
    2. leftovers for dinner - veg stir fry from the night before. leftovers are my favourite food, no thinking about it.
    3. went for a walk in the warm sunshine
    4. OH is having a lovely few days in Holland at lots of Organ recitals. He's back tonight :T I've hardly seen him in the last 3 weeks,
    5. Ambulance

    Have a good day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Ah you're all pictures of serenity. Perfick. ;)

    My 5p's:

Last of the shampoo bottles and now I build a stock of shampoo bars. Nice feelings.

Using the sun to bleach my whites on the line. Also a nice feeling.

Youngest DD tired but happy from her end of term roller disco.

I hear older DD singing and strumming her guitar as I type. She's really quite nice.

Thankful the NHS is there to help me with asthma issues.
  • The Zebra childs first school report, so lovely to read he's doing very well in all areas and that his enthusiasm is inspiring his class mates.

A good afternoon in the shop where we decimated the stock room clothing and put it out at very reasonable prices and sold quite a lot of it too! win win eh?

The tomato soup I made us for lunch, new recipe and very tasty, and we have enough for a couple of bowlfuls each left.

DD1 survived sports day better than anticipated (school wanted her supervising children all day out in the sun at 7 months pregnant) and managed to stay in the shade in the stands and still do the supervision she was required to do.

The people I'm lucky enough to work with, they are a nice bunch of folks and I enjoy their company

    Pleasures for today (Friday)

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Packed up the holiday house and we were on the road by 10am. Arrived home at 7pm... The longest drive I have done in 20 years and smaller son has a sun burned arm and bit of leg just from the light coming through the car window!

    3) A nice sandwich from Tesco.

    4) Everything has grown in the garden. Had a bowl of raspberries, not from the allotment but just from the few rogue raspberry canes in my garden!

    5) Cat OK.

    6) Watched Gogglebox and the Last Leg.
