  • Just adding the milk to the Honey Monster. Then taking BoP’s Truck to the garage for the service, MoT and wash. As he left his leather jacket in Paris in 1984, February, he has never considered a Renote. Not what Frith wants to hear, but, then I have a bowl of honey monster to crunch.

More Soon, thirst is lemon juice and dropping BoPsie off at her Salt Mine!

Broomstick so sorry to hear about your Daf. He is at peace and knew how much love you had for him and knew that you will be there for your Mum.
    Thinking and praying for you.

    Thursday pleasures,

A perfect summer’s day, brilliant blue sky with lots of sunshine but also a nice cool breeze, more of these please.

    A field full of poppies.

My beautiful mare’s mane, silver ripples in the breeze.

Completing a few of those niggly little chores that keep getting put off, these included washing down the path that runs down the side of the house, the swift nest in the roof eaves and leave the inevitable deposits.

Watching the footie and our ladies did us proud, keep making those Belgian Buns Frith!

    For Wednesday and Thursday.

    1. Talk with boss didn't achieve too much but she did agree on a couple of points. One of which is confidentiality. Hopefully things will change in this respect.

    2. Really tired Wednesday evening and felt cold so are and went too bed. Slept for 10 hours. Unheard for me.

    3. At work had been told unofficially that someone had resigned with immediate effect. Had confirmation on Thursday. The person I was working with and myself found it funny. She had only been working for 2 weeks in the department. It tells a story.

    4. Replied to an email to all regarding their working pattern and whether they want it changed. I was very specific what I wanted and why.

    5. England winning the football.

    6. DS1 went to the gym again. He is enjoying himself and gaining more confidence.

Frith how lovely to have happy birthday sang to you from the other side of the world.
  • BoP’s truck serviced. MoT passed. Now scooping up BoPsie from her Salt Mine. She maid the mistake today of having an overpriced sausage roll from the fake all good for all looks gods farm thing. It was carp. She questioned why BoP had not bin there. No need to question. Not everything is as good as BoP.

Broomstick, nearly 70 years together is a real testament. You and your dear Mum have this as permanent knowledge. It will be comfort too, with time.

broomstick pop on when you can. I hope amongst your sadness there will be time for happy memories and moments to shine through. Take care and give your mum a gentle hug from me. X

Well oooft it's hot. Not often said round these here parts! I can't believe how hot it still is. Upstairs is boiling! But at least here I can have windows open in Melbourne beasties would have crawled in!

Work. Finished at 12. Had not long got home when DD called me to say some friends were in with our old neighbour. Looking for me. So I popped back down. Had a tuna sandwich.

Then did a bit of grocery shopping.

Home and the niecelys came for tea.

GN and I and Haggis went to allotment to water the veggies. It was surprisingly slightly cooler down there as usually it's a total sun trap . There was a welcome breeze. Just picked some herbs. Haggis was in and out if pond to cool down.

Nice smiles and chatter from our almost 6 week old boy. Lovely little chap. But usual colicky cries after tea. We had ice lollies for pud.
