    & Rite stitched up there!
Rhubarb Crumble, that is not takeaway, it needs instant lumpy custard.
Nows I is asked about mes pans. Ise stainless stell, and not them non stick pans. Got it. Bit of grit in dishwaser and up like new!

Oh yeah, as BoPsie is on her Bum Check tomorrow, this means that BoP can have all the reversion foods he likes today. Meatballs. Oh yeah, meatballs. Proper and good for you! More later! Peas and I thinks cauliflower will be wolfed down. Now sI thinks I should gets me some crinkle cut chips on the way home!

Nows we had our usual brekfest of best back and snorkers on satday. Rite tasty with a couple of poached eggs as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice as well. Proper food!

Was out yestday so had no steamed spotted Richard for tea. Had tea out, well fish and chips from the fourth best chip shop inn the UK, ok, but really skinless buffers! Nice though and filled a gap. Harry is no way near as good as Steels! Got it?

Two satsumas, strawbs and blueberries. Toms and radishes, Good for you. There, BoP has had Rashers and Radishes. Great mix and good for you.

Watched some more of Letter Daveman on the flicksnest thing. Good one by Kanye West. Recommended by BoP. Ellen, though she was ok, but a bit self pity for herself? More on this later.

Well after putting the wireless thing on this morning, LBC, I have bin inundated with info about the downpour expected this day. Our mill race, that has been drained to protect against flooding the shop floor, is in dire need of some water! I expect it should be here soon. How is Lundonium coping?

Ok, enuffs of the BoP bites today!

You dreams will come true if you follow them!
  • I got home just before a massive heavy shower at lunchtime!

Goof morning in the shop, many bags unpacked, priced up and put out and half the big tub of ironing done and also priced up and out into the shop.

HWK has waxed all the lounge and dining room furniture for us this morning, house smells lovely, furniture looks fantastic.

DD1 walked into the lounge last evening and looked at what we'd done in terms of moving bits of furniture from one room to another and said 'Mum, this is home!', lovely.

I HAD put my glasses in my coat pocket before I left the shop so I will be able to read my book this evening, phew!

    Some for over the weekend.

We laid in bed listening to the rain in the early morning wondering why are we getting up early to go out for the day, thankfully the weather didn’t follow us across to Wiltshire and we had a wonderful day. What really lovely people met in general asking after the ferrets we also had with us as its not everyday you see them and the ferrets were stars, so much great pr. We met up with a friend who has a stall there who is very happy with a new lady and it’s so nice to see him so happy.

DH picked up various things for projects.

We left a bit early so decided to use mainly a roads back as far as possible, amazing views, until we got to Guildford which had changed entirely to my memory and tried to get us lost, we went past newlands corner and the silent pool, where my mum used to love spending time and they were wheelchair friendly.

Stopped on the way back for a burger at the box hill cafe

Laughed out loud at a lot of Sarah Millican.

    For Sun

1 It looks like our kitchen even thou small, will cost me double what I had expected, to check this we are rapidly getting quotes, I just am not a fan of sales. But I arranged the appointments today.

2 Floors hoovered and washed, my mum would not approve of cleaning on a Sunday.

3 I planted out a few trays of Petunias from Aldee

4 Thought we would be needed on a call out so didn’t eat, but stood down late so I used a coupon sent through earlier to order in.

5 Watching the first Good omens episode.
    Back later with todays....

    Pleasures for today (Monday).

    1) No GCSEs!

    2) Bigger son phoned this morning and seemed a bit better. It has all been very exciting! He has sun burned his feet (no one wears shoes). I did point out before he left that, just because we don't burn in the UK, it doesn't mean that we are too dark to burn anywhere in the world...

A wildcat came down off the mountain and killed one of the hens. No culture shock for bigger son when it ended up in the pot! (The hen, not the wildcat!) He has shown the grandma photos of our hens on his phone.

He has also been into the school and played volleyball with the pupils. His first job is to build some steps between one playground and the next.

    3) My brother appeared with the strimmer and cut down all the undergrowth down the sides of the allotment. He also managed to catch the hosepipe so it is now more of a sprinkler! :-D

    4) It rained all day so I went into Ludlow to look round the charity shops. Got smaller son a Superdry t shirt as I am looking out for clothes for him when he starts college.

    5) We had salmon for tea then made a banoffee pie with strawberries on top rather than bananas.

    6) In bed with 1hwb and it is about 7 degrees (only 4 degrees early this morning!)

    1. Day was ok at work . Better than expected as a couple of people were off sick.

    2. Made a cake. It was very tasty.

    3. Looking at the roses DH bought for the garden. At present still in pots outside the kitchen window and in full bloom

    4. Lit a candle as such a damp day. Smells of lavender.

    5. Kitchen still looking tidy and work surfaces still ckear.

How/when/where to avoid traffic gloop today?
    Driving>Devon for installation@St Petroc's tmrw.
Can't, so will just start after this.

    1. Busy Sunday: baking in new oven till after 1am, for later 'bring and share', then Trumpy carboot, then back for very scarlet Pentecost, then stitch-up AGM, then back for more village Pentecost and a reading.
Leaving, noted late crescent moon to vicar, jointly recalling same at similar service, 6mths ago.

    2. 2 happy results, Rafa tennis and Lewis, F1. No Idea why many dislike LH so.

    3. Early nurse appt. Now learn stitches must stay in 2-3 wks. Feels wrong to use up surgery time this way. & fiercely told off, yet again. 'How many left thumbs do you have?'

    4. Carried on to usual volunteering. Did no wet anything, as ordered. Rain had different ideas. Did my best.

    5. Suddenly, late call to a pretence of a public mtg, against closure of Parkside Police Station, Town of Gown. Mtg deliberately not announced, location obscure, gates and access locked, but concerned peeps still found a way.
    Lunatic prospect.
Farcical so-called 'consultation' for this fait accompli, stitch-up vanity project (terms used widely).
& questions, and &, not liked by Mr Smarm, who obviously eyes other gongs, :-)
No questions from anyone were actually answered.
Not 1 person in packed room was in favour.
All present agreed these things. Evidenced thoroughly elsewhere this morning.
    So, on verra.....

Safe days and rest of week everyone.
Mhags, great opening days:-) That tipsy jam jar will be full before you know it.

Exciting times for eldest Frith Ouch on the sunburnt feet.
 on Parkside & ridiculous proposal, soon whole of Fenland will be covered by just a small handful of police.

    Monday pleasures,

Took back road route to horsey town to avoid traffic and a very bedraggled looking hare crossed lane in front of me.

Met eldest DN and her hubbie in cathedral city for lunch, lovely to catch up on their busy lives, hardworking young couple who contribute a lot to their local community, Lainey is rightly proud.

Introduced them to the delights of the chocolate shop, just the smell when you walk in, argh...

A smiley moment when met another umbrella user walking down a small alley, laughter as we manoeuvred past each other.

Capt S smiling when he saw the (very) small box of handpicked chocs on dining room table, one each for dessert.
  • No usual Lunch Time with BoP today. I is taking BoPsie to the bum clinic for her tests. More later.

And with that I thinks mes is out of here

Hello. Not quite bedtime as I must, must , must Hoover my bedroom!

Work! I'll go at 1pm...didn't quite happen though it was a nice thought so another 10 hours worked and yet more tips! Hurrah!

    Maybe finish early tomorrow...

    Got bananas for 22p RTC.

Had brought home 2 small baked potatoes from work all lovely and crisp on outside and soft inside. Had with some chicken.

Walked down to OH best friend. It's his birthday. Haggis and I sat in their garden for an hour or so blethering.

Washing hung out at teatime almost dry.

Trying hard to do stuff instead of just collapsing in a heap like my body wants to! Shall Hoover then attempt to watch Holby .
