1. Lovely warm day and we avoided all the little rain showers.
2. Did some decluttering. It was much needed as we are considering getting rid of cupboard under the stairs so it will need to be cleared.
3. Given a gorgeous bunch of roses for a belated birthday present.
4. Went to Wisley to look round with DH and DS1 came too. I think DS1 came for the meal we had later.
5. Looked round the work going on MIL old house. It will be big. Met DH cousin and husband there.
6. Went out for a meal with them. Good food and good to see them looking well as he had a heart attack a couple of months ago.0 -

Filling up the bird feeders whilst all the expectant diners are twittering away in the apple tree above me.

Popped round to see DB and family for a cuppa plus a slice of cake.
Catching up on the latest episode of the Forensics, the real CSI, the science fascinates me.0 -

Mrs SD our neighbours over the back have bees nesting in their eves! Yikes! Now I like a bee buzzing around the garden just not hundreds milling round!
Woke early tick
Up early no tick...but will try much harder tomorrow as I have so much to do!
Painted door frame in living room .
Painted new to me bench. Was in a worse condition than I'd realised but it looks so much better now. A duck egg kind of blue. Ended up painting the black cast iron sides so it's all blue. There's a rotten bit on one of the struts so may see if I can get some kind of filler or may just leave it 'au natural ' and see how it goes. A few nice chats with passers by as I painted. Had to wait till son came home from work to carry it round the back and it sits just perfectly between my 2 sets of patio doors.
Took DD to work...popped into mine. So much has been done since yesterday. Looking good.
Dinner was a RTC mince pie , peas, mashed potatoes.
Faffed about with my new bench then had to retreat as rain came on. It had actually been a pleasant day.
Picked up DD from work and I'm so glad to say it's bedtime.0 -

Monday pleasures,
That first cup of coffee after a rough nights sleep.
From looking decidedly meh a few weeks ago my patio rose has burst into life and has a lot of blooms.
Told Capt S was just popping out for an hour to watch some dressage at the yard but ended up helping pals out and didn’t get home until nearly 4 hours later so guess pleasure is having a partner who understands the different rules for time when dealing with horses
Having some chicken chowder in the freezer for a cba supper.
Watched 2 episodes of Chernobyl back to back.0 -
Snorkers for tea, followed by strawberries and cream.
Well as I as said, the Vets Breakfast and things. No that was missing. Nows I am on about the club singer from Manchester whose posters have been removed from the rail stations. Once we start censoring everything, all news becomes fake?
Interesting read in paper yesterday, and I has mentioned Soldiers off the Streets before. Now 200 years since the homeless soldiers from the Napoleonic wars were left on the street, just as some from today, 100 years ago they marched on Parliament to demand jobs! 100 years later we are …
PM2DD Oh laud! Villains as bin promoted. Hide from the outlaws, we will not live it down! Got that offs me hairy chest quick today!
On abouts me hairy bits, no not them armpit things, BoP does never shave on Saturday as he gives his bristles time to breathe. On Bank Holyday weakeneds he lets his stubble grow that extra mile and does his wet shave and groom on the Monday. That way I get an extra tug. Then splashed with the ship version of the eua de Cologne! BoPsie finds it very BoP like!
Now on to this weaks lunch box! Full of goodness again. Today we has two satsumas, cheese of LieSter Red (LieSter because they won the football after not paying their debts!) Strawbs, blueberries, two clubs, mint and orange, and as theys on offers, two cakes of Jaffa.
Saw the flix of net last night with A million ways to die in the west. Bit too racy for the likes of Sparra, ifs shes around, but well versed for the rest of the parishioners.
Nows after every so often, BoP pops out and test the carp foods for yous so yous don’ts has too. Well wes has again tested the chicken dippers. It is safe to eat them as part of a balanced nutritional food scam as Jimmy the Cooks pasta place has failed, are tasty once inn a while. Even tastier with some fresh wobbleades. Minds yous on FryDay nite BoPsie led BoP astray and he had stake and bits with too much of the wobblefizz. Made him quite wobbly! Please be aware that wobblefizz can do this too you so bee careful.
Fired up the boilers at work, they get rather cold when wes no inn. Thinks, short weak and soon we will have the fires put out!
