5 OS pleasures in your day today - part 3

In a foul mood but I'll try...
* Phone call from my oldest and my youngest in a car with Quoye on the way back from visiting their dad. Quoye holloring from the backseat "It's me! Your hunny bunny!"
* Enough left from last night's dinner that tonight, I didn't have to cook.
* Eating pimento cheese straight out of the container with a spoon.
* Orchid still in bloom. This plant is amazing seeing as how I mostly ignore it.
* Hearing my youngest daughter got $5 tickets on the day of the show of a comedic political commentator (with a popular TVshow) she really wanted to see but couldn't afford. Just a few tickets left and she happened to look at the right moment. She lives in an area that heavily supported Trump so this guy was not sold out like in other parts of the country. Happy girl.
My son gave me fits Firth so I sincerely empathize with your current situation. They eventually turn out to be good guys but in the mean time it's just the pits!Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Just lost a post.
1. Day out with a friend on Friday. She drove which was good. We looked round a garden and had lovely day catching up.
2. Cleared some cupboards out and made space for some of DH work stuff. Less clutter in the house now.
3. Saw Warhorse in Canterbury. It was excellent. We had brought the tickets ages ago and it was worth the wait.
4. Arrived early so we could look round Canterbury and have something to eat. Good was very good.
5. Looked round the cathedral area as it was free as the cathedral was closed. Generally you have to pay to go into the area.0 -
Saturday pleasures,
A small lie-in followed by boiled egg with marmite soldiers.
Went to leave for the yard and it was obvious from half chewed pastille wrappers and other evidence that have had a little mouse visitor in my car  lovely Capt S volunteered to deal with it so left him to it.
Being followed round the field by an inquisitive horse, she likes to smell my hair!
Finally got around to clearing out hanging baskets, now need some winter pansies etc.
Glass of red wine and plain chocolate, all very good for me can assure you0 -
Morning all. We've had a bit of a pants week, but will find some pleSures for the last few days
1. DS has been safely delivered to uni. Not so much a pleasure for us, it's a new chapter. But I messaged him last night asking if he'd settled in and he said everyone in his flat was nice
2. Drains still not sorted, but drain man is very keen to do so for us, he is back tomorrow. The pleasure is that hopefully the bathrooms will be usable tomorrow (we've been using the downstairs loo and basin, kids have had timed 3 minute showers, OH has used work. I don't need to wash my hair often so have strip washed downstairs. As a Glastonbury veteran, it's luxury)
3. After dropping DS at uni, he's gone to Liverpool John Moores, we came to ICT. Good to not go back to his empty bedroom. DD had arrived a couple of hours before us
4. Had a bath and hair wash this morning. Because I could. Was in the bath with Comoran Strike on iplayer
5. DD had a trial shift at lush. It's all looking very positive that she will soon be employed the :T only part time, but it gives her the flexibility for auditions,
Have a good day all. I am on the train back later to meet the drain guy tomorrowI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
