Congrats to eldest Frith we have a Go Ape nearby in Thetford Forest and it’s very popular.
Hugs Sue let’s hope the consultant can at least give a definitive answer.

    Monday pleasures,

Into horsey town and saw several racehorse strings going up to the gallops.

Found a large Trivet in a CS, been after one for a while as my baking trays slide around on the small ones, also picked up a couple of lavender bags.

    Leftover beef rolls for lunch.

Ebay purchase, lunge roller and Cavesson bridle for girlie.

Pesto strata for tea and then brain tested by Uni Challenge.

Hugs to Sue and anyone else who'd like one.

    Congrats to son of Frith

Well done Mhags in throwing the paint brush round.

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Yoga - after my mega walk on Sunday, gentle yoga was just The Thing. Friend was there so had a brief catch up and a promise of a coffee next time
    2. Saw two references next to each other in an article - one was Whyte and the next one Wong... :p:rotfl:
    3. Diet starts - Not A Pleasure. Stood on scales - Not A Pleasure. THe Pleasure is.... erm.... knowing i can do something about it.
    4. to that end, had a minimal breakfast, made broccoli soup for lunch and had a one pot chickpea, spinach 'thing' for meat free Monday tea
    5. Cold feet...

Time to crack on - write, write, write....
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • I am after you, Taxman. Stupid baffffoooon says he has not got my money twice. He is a liar! Don't give him any room. He wanted payment. On your way stupid bafffffooooon! Please avoid!

Now I wanders if & after her adventures in NZs will gives us the delightful story of Mrs. Woodcock of Impington Cambridgeshire! She was out riding her horse in the snow and came off, although she tried to remount, she could not and was in a drift for 8 days or so. She managed to use a twig and a handkerchief and a farmer came along and dug her out! A plaque marks her remarkable endurance.

There you see, Not so grizzly today!

V Still not a happy Hector, but less grizzly. BoPsie is over the worse of it, but has her red wine lake drained. Please think of BoPsie!

4 Still grizzly, but as noted previous that BoP has money out of the prying taxmans earshot. This is now on its way to help replenish BoPs wobbleade stash. I am not interested in the red wine lake, thank you! BoPsie remains on wobbleade this weak! Though I hs managed to gets her enuff for a bag of crisps tomorrow evening in the WWW!

3 As murmured earlier that BoP is correct. Had quiz from bank about stashing. Preaching to converted them lot! Yet they allowed taxman to rob mes blind. Again BoP does has his stash hidden from his prying eyes and can ride the storm

2 Nite BoP is showing off his beach ready body in the gym.

    Have enuff of one already!

    And that’s all folks!

    Good evening.

A day of meetings and phone calls and emails. And scraps of paper and answering door to landscapers when on phone and moving from back of house when they got noisy to front of house where they then started up the concrete mixer!

Very frosty dog walk at 6am. It was strangely very sparkly in an almost 'trippy' way ( not that I've ever tripped on anything in my life!) but bizarrely sparkly! And very pretty.

Had to scrape ice off car just so I could move it across the road. Seven tonnes of hardcore rubble deposited on driveway. The most beautiful sunrise as I scraped and as I'm nice did son's car too!

After meeting I went to T and bought Diet Coke with my clubcard vouchers! I drink way too much. But hey every little helps!

Had beans on toast for lunch and it was rather yummy.

Had lasagne for tea ( the other half of yesterday's as my normal lasagne
dish too big for new oven so did it in 2 smaller ones.) with RTC veggies, sprouts, broccoli and green beans.

Have made me ( as no one else will eat it) a blackberry and apple crumble for my pudding and some oatie biscuits.

My garden looks better already! They had to close play early as it poured from 1.30pm onwards. I know I'm going to love it.

Finished chairs so they're now looking much better and around the table.

That's the rain back on again. Glad I did the dog walk just before it started.

I'm off for some crumble! Have a good night :)

    Tuesday pleasures,

    A better night’s sleep.

Trip into BuryStEd, picked up a few bits in Mr Sparks using vouchers including some store cupboard requirements.

    Leftover strata for lunch.

Saw my horse girlie, have never seen a horse that grooms themselves so much, she’s more like a huge cat and so supple, it’s like horsey yoga :D

On the way home from the yard, coming around the corner and two roe deer crossed the road ahead of me, beautiful.

    Smoked haddock kedgeree for tea.
