  • Nows I has herd it all. Please use the duck. The duck recommends you do clear the data that google and others dump on your viewing device regularly. Avoid that google thing. Use https://www.duckduckgo.com and let the little quacker show you. Same with the buck face thing. All I put up is bullshine. And I treat said as bullshine.

V please be aware that BoP is correct! Nows I knows, but does not tells BoPsie. Toinght again it shall be sardines on toast!

4 Tea last night was mixed gorilla time, well late brunch. No fried tatties, mushrooms, bacon, two poached eggs. Proper food and good for you. Rite nice and tasty!

3 Onto the special lunch box today. Two cheeses! Yes, today two cheeses. Smoked Bavarian and appled smoke wood! Gone before we broke into song. Now only gots me cakes of Jaffa left! Ohs, I fergets to tells yous yestday on weigh inn to the mill, some poor dear was so engrossed in her plastic attraction app device, she slipped on some ice and went rrrrr over hips! Or words like that anyway! Dash cam cort it so I could be rite …

2 Good to see big wig mse get some help from buckface. But bee more like BoP. Ignore the shysters on the thing. Had another one claiming I could immediately become rich yesterday! I am rich through life, I don’t need them to fleece me. Use rule of BoP. The second word is off! You can use the one the rhymes with sugar if that is sweetener! I prefer, again, to use the Duck! Always use the duck!

Having one later inn the Gym!

And there, yous better off knowing that in BoPlands all is good!

bop we won't mention the cricket!
date didn't materialise but not being too downhearted. It will be 7 years in November since xoh did the dirty so i guess a few more months won't hurt.
    1) found a fabulous 'physics love poem' to send xoh on valentines. won't, but made me laugh (obviously in this case it's not a lovey lovey poem https://www.symmetrymagazine.org/article/physics-love-poems 5th one down by Peter Voznyuk). instead i have sent it to my best friend (who also read physics) with 'what i would send to p if i sent anything'.
    2) mr piano said he didn't understand it but should he laugh politely lol
    3) made it back to the gym. as i am in the words of some awful ad worth it (if worth is measured in stiffness i am very worth it!)
    4) went to dd2's hairdresser. bit more than i usually pay but he was an absolute sweetie, made me feel great and hair looks terrific. maybe not mse but just what i needed
    5) mrpiano has just cooked me fillet steak. not usually a steak eater but it was lish. feeling loved :D

In bed surrounded by everything I need! Just waiting on friend calling me. It's a Ye olde fashioned phone on a cord so I need to be in the one place!

    A good day.

    The most stunning Crimson sunrise.

A very useful and informative course. But a few too many strong characters! I do like to watch group dynamics...shared a smile with one girl who did not say one word after introductions...I'm assuming we were both thinking 'oh here she goes again!'

Had parked at supermarket beginning with M so nipped in and came out with green beans for 6p X 2, veg for roasting for 10p, 5 peaches at 15p, satsumas for 10p and some chillies I hope aren't too fiery for 6p!

Home and sorted out my bookcase! I'd decided in my wisdom to paint it last night using up last of grey chalk paint from dining room. Had a cull of recipe books . In a charity bag for next collection. Looks much better. Placed some lights up that I'd bought last year and they look lovely.

The niecelys came for tea, made steak pie. Stretched it out by putting carrots and peas in with meat. Pastry was RTC. Potatoes were from freezer and veggies were the reduced ones from today.

    Good chit chat with them.

Gardener chap came round . Have decided to go ahead with his quote ( not cheap but it will be done exactly what / how I want it to be. Low-ish maintenance . A place for plants and a place for veggies. A place to sit in and a place to dine in. He's been recommended by a friend. Work starts next week.
  • Didn't manage to post yesterday and by now I would have a job trying to remember yesterday's pleasures :o so here my five for today;

    1) A better sleep last night - thank goodness. It might have been that I put an extra throw on the bed so was much warmer.

    2) Beautiful stunning red sunrise here as well.

    3) Housework all done this morning.

    4) Great couple of hours at the knitting group - finished the last of the donated Christmas cake this afternoon.

    5) While making dinner I baked some vanilla cakes that Mum loves so will take her some tomorrow.

Going to bed now to finish reading my library book. It's called the Kingfisher Secret by an anonymous author. Supposedly based on Donald Trumps first wife. Whether or not that's true it's a really good thriller xx
Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order :) )
  • 1 Surprised at just how much on an effect the exercise classes are having, another class achieved tonight.
2 Early dinner was a pasta bake packed with vegetables on “ a bed of greens” or should that be disguising the greens, before DH goes off on his course.
3 Washing loads again but having to use the dryer for some.
4 Playing with the animals who are young enough not to care that it was both raining and cold outside, but they have the luxury of always being able to come inside.
5 Watching the birds loving the extra food.

    Pleasures for today (Thursday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Work went by quickly. Everyone seemed very jovial. Bumped into Mr G again (who used to teach smaller son and always asks after him) and Mrs T, who gave me my garden chairs!

    3) Home for a late lunch which was a hummus and avocado sandwich.

    4) Hens well.

    5) Bigger son drove to town so he could go to college.

    6) Smaller son has been quite difficult recently and condescending (15 is a funny age). I parked outside his school thinking I would give him a lift but I hadn't mentioned it to him. He ran out, got in the car and said, "What a lovely surprise!" I could have fainted!

    7) Got some compost from B and Q and made lots of paper pots with my special pot mould (to save on plastic).

    8) Fajitas for tea.

    9) Enjoyed watching Hospital though it was sad.

    10) Bigger son has gone to play poker with MrN's son5 and smaller son has been in a jolly mood this evening.

    Nearly forgot!

    11) My sister is still clearing her garden (which had about 6 sheds, lean-tos etc when she moved in) and has given me her greenhouse! So it can go on the allotment with the new to me shed.

    1. Reasonable day. Colleague who I very rarely see had a chat and she remembers other conversation and asks about concerns.

    2. A lovely sunrise - a beautiful colour.

    3. Used a voucher for a favourite restaurant.

    4. Arranged to meet a friend for coffee.

    5. Chat with DS1 who seems happy still.

Trawling through the Open Learn website looking for a free online course to keep my brain engaged, have a few contenders.

Carrot stretches with pony, her favourite.

DB round ours for tea and brought me the last in the Shardlake book series by CJ Sansom, love these books.

Fish Pie, all eaten and enjoyed.

Morning all - pre work procrastination is going well here :rotfl:

    Pleasures for yesterday:

    1. My house is tidy - but i am not in it again until Monday so who knows what it'll be like then...
    2. Lunch with former colleague friend. Had a good chat but the coffee shop was NOISY.. Death metal being played loudly, i'll suggest we don't go there again.
    3. Train to ICT was very OK - it isn't always. Got lots done and then more when i got here
    4. Cos I'd had a substantial lunch (fries topped with falafel) I got away with a snacky tea - cheese, crisps and apple with a couple of hummus topped rice cakes.
    5. Watched the Lucy Worsley history of the US programme. I like how she presents things. Am currently reading her Jane Austen book.

OK - I really must start work, have a good day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
