A lazy start, with enough leftover bits for a grilled lunch.:o

Recycling bin is full of yellow stickers as I!!!8217;ve been cooking up, created apple and rhubarb crumble, I tested it and was transported back to my mums cooking. Also made a big mince batch and created a big spag bol, with a big bowl of leftover mince.:)

The house is clean but messy, I!!!8217;ll settle for that, we are doing a massive tidy out, with a cs load out of the door every day!

    Cleaned the fridge up.

Finished a good book with a disappointing ending

Enjoying my very bright rtc roses in their 2nd week, dh hasn!!!8217;t even noticed they are there!

Hello from land of the iciest wind! Sitting wrapped up in a blanket!

Nice chat with DD1 . Following a through the night message of I'm going to see about a job if I don't get back to you call the police! She got the job and I didn't need to call the police!

Went to slimming club. A gain. But I've eaten like a glutton all week and not followed it at all. Back on it ...just not today :)

Walked there and back via my mothers for last day of cat feeding.

Went to Glasgow on bus with DD2 . We were meeting my lovely friend and her godmother . Had lunch her treat. Drinks my treat. Parking her treat . Coffee and doughnuts my treat. Just such a fun afternoon. I saw her in November but DD hasn't seen her since we had moved away. So much laughter and just that perfect way of catching up from where you left off with a good friend.

Did my second RAK ( random act of kindness ) by leaving a bunch of flowers on my friends doorstep. 48 more to be done !

Walking back from last cat feeding session and saw DN car in drive so that was a nice surprise. Haggis just loves GN ...much ball throwing gets done.

    A good day :)

    1. Did NOT have to go out in the rain:T

    2. DSis phoned from France - she received the parcel I sent over a week ago :) + she received the items my DH arranged for delivery :)

    3. Cleaned the last of my ornaments - I had forgotten that I have some beautiful pieces which I will be keeping & will display properly when all the decluttering & decorating is done :) unfortunately this means that the cs will only get a few ornaments :(

    4. DH has gloss painted the stairway skirting & all the upstairs hallway door frames - ALL SIX of them :T :j but that makes all the doors (except one) look REALLY bad :rotfl:

    5. Found even more books to go cs :)

    6. Reading your pleasures.

    1. Very warm in the sun and had a wander round a small village and stopped for something to eat.

    2. Drive to the nearest city and watched the religious Easter procession. Pleased I've seen it but wouldn't want to go yearly. All the local churches carried the Easter statues. Most people dressed in black. The men in black robes with ku Klux klan type hats on.
There was a torrential rain shower as the end passed us and all the statues were covered up and then it continued.

    3. Went for a coffee in the main square. It was just warm enough to sit outside with the large sum umbrellas keeping the rain off.

    4. Watching the birds and then listening to the frogs when it becomes dark.

    5. Did some exercises in the morning and more than achieved my step target.

    Morning Folks,

    1. Bleached all the insides of the mugs with Milton. Lovely white mugs.

    2. Started to clean all the pans, by boiling them in biological washing powder and giving them a good scrub with a Brillo, then into the dishwasher. Sparkly and shiny. Only half way through though!

    3. Made a nice chicken and avocado bake for tea from LO chicken. Free Dinner :j

    4. DH has finished painting the walls in the dining room. Well done that man!

    5. Me and DH out on a Friday night :D..... ‘My Generation’ at independent cinema. Love Michael Caine. Forgot that David Bailey was so gorgeous!

Have a lovely day :)......rain, rain and more rain here:(

    Friday pleasures,

Up early and saw a little sunshine before it clouded over.

Filled up the bird feeders whilst they all sat waiting in the apple tree, the buds on the tree are just starting to open slightly, one of my favourite times of the year is when it’s in blossom.

Met up with nieces and went to tea exchange for an early lunch, bit of live jazz to accompany our meal, mmm nice :D

Over to the yard but it was coming down in stair rods so sat in girlie’s stable and sewed a piece of old sheepskin into her fleece rug, a seam has been rubbing a sore spot on her withers. Cosy with the rain hitting the roof and pony quietly munching on her hay.

Driving home through the puddles, the pheasants looking very miserable in the field, we all need warm sun now please.

I have not one, but two choc bunnies from well known chocolatier courtesy of darling Capt S :j

Now on the underground. That!!!8217;s not running either.

    Car next time.

We were going to the V&A. Wobbleades have been purchased!

1 I went out rtc hunting tonight and was successful, things are now portioned up in the freezer and a cheeky chocolate doughnut snaffled. I have now worked out that I won!!!8217;t need to go back to Mr T for 2 months and I!!!8217;m very happy about that, we will be happy back to a L£dl shop for milk, fruit and veg only.

2 Work on the bedroom is underway, plasterboard purchased today on the Wickes 15 percent off Easter weekend deal and DH has been measuring and chopping ever since.

3 I spent another 2 hours in the office, more floor visible and the filing is I am pleased to say up to date, I created a vast amount of waste to burn in the chimera.

4 I paired leftover bolognaise with turmeric rice and greens.

5 A close and tight handle on our finances. Apt with solicitors next week to get DFs estate underway, a few more bits to do and we will be on the market v. soon.

    3) Did paced egg rolling at parents'.

    4) Hens ok.

    5) Chicken and salad sandwiches for lunch.

    7) Dropped chocolate and an activity book off at my sister's.

    8) Bigger son had lit the stove on my return and it was 28 degrees downstairs.

    9) Rather splendid fish pie for tea that I cooked yesterday.

    10) Watched Casualty, good but sad.
