    1. Arrived at work on time and managed to take lunch with me. It was a reasonable day.

    2. Parked outside the post office as I needed to post a parcel. Friendly staff.

    3. Spent time in the garden after work and watched the chickens.

    4. Managed to get loads done in the house and ironing up to date.

    5. Read some of my book.

Morning - today you find me en route to Edinburgh. I am back tonight so a long day on trains for me. Going to do two interviews.

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. MiL went home. :p She has been fine this weekend - not one tear or broad hint that she wants to come and live with us. It is the most pleasant visit we've had from her for several years, I would say. But still having her there is somewhat disruptive and so normality was a little resumed. DS drove her.
    2. A day of getting stuff done or organising stuff to be done.
    3. The water seeping through our utility room wall (from inside to outside) appears not to be coming from a burst pipe :T we think the freezer may be packing up.
    4. Broccoli soup for lunch and moroccan veg stew for tea for meat free monday.
    5. Booked to go to Disneyland with DD in June :T

    Have a good day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Respect for Frith and hurrah that school did wrong but right thing.

    Recent pleasures including weekend,

Various times spent with horse, she really is a delight.

Up early on Sunday to drive down to Norfolk coast for a family party.

Little dog especially had a fab day with long walk on beach then a treat of sitting under table during lunch and being surreptitiously passed chips by her Mum :D

After lunch we all retired to DB’s holiday cottage for high jinks, the house had stunning views across the dunes to the sea and the weather was glorious.

Driving home, still in the light :j all tired but very happy.

Yesterday’s lovely weather and washing dried outside.

    Windows open and house aired.

Made a Quiche Lorraine, recipe out of Ma Larkins cookbook and it was perfick.

Watched Marcella hoping it was last episode but wasn’t, becoming bit of a trial now but need to know :(
  • V Ifs yous reading this at work, please keep quiet as BoP is duvet testing today! Zzzzzz later.

4 Had bits tea last night of hot dogs with onions. You know you wanted some, but to be honest a bag of chips, lentil stew, morrocan stew, and other things just don't compete with this! Tum was rubbed!

3 Can't believe that out bix of weet has run out this morning and we of left with only golden flakes of corn for the rest of the week! Tum was rubbed! More later

2 Day is a BoP off day and it is off. Loads not to do. Feet are well up on the stool. Lovely!

There are other options, but no more choice!

    1) Bought our TV licence last night as decided that I can't have this year without Monty. Watched one and he gave me the weebles! He is about 35 years older than me but my I LOVE HIM.
    2) Crossfit yesterday. If Monty does ever come a knockin' he'll have buns of steel to grab onto...I'm feeling quite sore today which is a nice reminder I 'did' something. The painful something mainly being 100 weighted squats. Ouch.
    3) Spent yesterday evening in the garden with DH. Sneaky glass of wine before dinner.
    4) Food - last night I did homemade oven chips with olive oil spray. They were really yummy, and DD says she prefers this lower fat version, so that's a win! I had just a few, with heaps of broccoli, babycorn and a couple of veggie sausages. Pudding was Alpro yoghurt and tinned apricots in juice. Have also managed to stick to my eating plan for four whole days. Yay! I have a size 6 bikini that I'm hopeful will make it to Loire Valley with us in July :)
    5) At the weekend we planted out loads of things in the garden. I'm excited for all the bounty it could produce!
  • FRITH all these things are sent to try us, some try harder than others though don't they love?

    1) Finding a lovely plain navy light weight 90%down 10%feather body warmer for £19.99 in TK Max this morning. Just right for spring walks over a lighter jumper!

    2) Finding in their sale a fab pair of PJs for the Zebra with sharks all over them. RRP £28! I got them for £3.

    3) Finding a packet of 'Cars' cup cake mix in Aldi with motifs to go on top including 'Lightning McQueen' oh he'll be a happy boy.

    4) Not getting soaked when I walked the Cookster this afternoon, we've had some very heavy showers here on and off all day and we just managed to miss them when we were out.

    5) I actually slept most of last night and when I did wake at 6 I dozed again and I woke again at 7.50 unheard of but lovely!

MandM - by chance I watched Gardeners World this morning, googled the lovely Monty and he lives fewer than 20 miles from me. :-D

    Pleasures for today (Tuesday)

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Did bits and pieces round the house. Would have worked more in the garden but it rained until about 11am.

    3) Hens OK and 1 egg.

    4) Helped my brother move some logs.

    5) On to local National Trust where I had my lunch.

    6) Met my school friend for our weekly cup of tea.

    7) Smaller son cooked the tea - baked potatoes, tuna and mayo.

    8) Just watched Holby.

Not a good day for smaller son at school today. I don't know what to do for the best tomorrow as he will be in isolation yet again (and so not going to classes nor learning anything). I am tempted to get him to do all his homework and some revision for his year 10 exams which take place as soon as he goes back. Don't know yet.

I would totally relocate just to catch a few glimpses of him. If only stupid hubby didn't have to work in stupid London! *drools*

    1. Fairly good day at work. A colleague caught bus with me and it was interesting talking to him and hearing his take on things.

    2. Waiting for the bus when I came home in the sun and felt warm much better than the rain in the morning.

    3. Had a coffee in the garden.

4/ DS2 cooked tea as I was busy packing as away today. Going to France where it should be warmer and drier as I am listening to the rain at the moment.

    5. Watched Great British bake off.. We all laughed and enjoyed it.
