1 I admit I popped out for RTC!!!8217;s only and that!!!8217;s what I got. There!!!8217;s a particular group of reduction hunters there that ruin it for everyone, I picked up some bits veg, fruit, rtc cakes cut up and now in the freezer minus a slice, and some 50p chicken which will make tomorrows curry. Weight loss is starting to kick in again.:j

2 I planted 3 orchid bulbs inside in memory of df, and planted out some petunias in the greenhouse hoping they recover.:o

3 Remembered to purchase a lotto ticket to be in it, also remembered my nephews 18th considering I am dreadful at birthdays.

4 Remodelling underway in the bedroom, small amount to do on it tomorrow preparing it to paint.:D

5 A constant pleasure of the pawed kind.:)

6 A sneaky one for yesterday we went out for a pizza hut and it was lovely to eat out but felt like you could roll us out of the door after...

    Morning :D

    1. Hens looking tatty, but happy. They have worked out inside and outside now, and take themselves to bed at night. Yesterday was the first time they all piled out in the morning, without me encouraging them by flapping my hand at them through the nest box.......hen houses are such rubbish designs.........next time, I will have a shed or an eglu.

    2. Took stuff back to Mr A and had a successful little shop.

    3. Listed some things on EBay.

    4. Washed the dog.

    5. Earth hour at friends house. Played a board game by candle light. Made s’mores on the wood burner. ........DS2, also only lasted 45mins.:o Fallings out over board game :rotfl: I had a lovely time!

Hurt my back carrying the water drinker down to the hens yesterday. Much better this morning. Hopefully reduce the washing pile if I can manage to get stuff on the line outside. :j

    Have a lovely day :)

    1. My parents came round for a chat. It was lovely seeing them. They have me some books which I haven't read.

    2. Had a new greenhouse out up. It looks great and I will soon fill it.

3.Planted some raspberry canes which were cheap and will hopefully recoup the cost this year in raspberries. Enjoyed being in the garden.

    4. Sorted out a couple cupboards in the kitchen. Looking very tidy and clean and stuff that I never use have been removed.

    5. DS1 enjoyed a day out watching rugby with a friend of his.
  • 1) Coffee out at the garden centre this morning, always a pleasure and our weekly treat.

    2) Lovely pootle round the lanes and villages, exploring little bye roads that we've not driven down before.

    3) A whole bank of primroses.

    4) A field full of Shetland ponies, all still in their winter coats and looking like Thelwell's drawings.

    5) I got another much reduced lovely jumper from the garden centre sale, a soft dusky pink, exactly the same as the grey one I got a couple of weeks ago and they are comfortable, warm and I feel happy in them.

    Pleasures for today (Sunday).

    1) A lie in.

    2) Hens well.

    3) Got various jobs done - cleaned the bathroom, up to date with washing etc.

    4) Went to carpet town to pick up bigger son.

    5) Big roast dinner with enough left to make into 3 pies for tea tomorrow and the freezer.

    6) Just watched a Stephen Hawking documentary with bigger son.

Forgot to write that when smaller son went to watch the football yesterday, he sounded as he always has. Picked him up and I now live with 2 Barry Whites! I don't know how they have both managed to achieve this within hours with none of the usual squeaking! It is unnerving to think you have a male visitor in the next room.

    1. Spent the day in the garden. Seeing the trees in bud and the blossom should appear soon. Already have some catkins on my willow trees.

    2. Smiling at some of my daffodils which look happy.

    3. Had a bonfire and burned loads of old tree roots and tree stumps which DH had been digging up. Also some branches we have cut down and a hedge we are removing.

    4. Chat with DS1 on the phone.

    5. Glass of wine for me and beer for DH in the garden before we came in to tea cooked by DS2.

    6. It was light until 7.30.
