Admiral Tour - Update!
What a day. So we shelter for a quickie sup in San Francisco and in walks the air steward from our flight here. Then we had lunch and a young lady that was confused yesterday suddenly stops me in the Ferry Terminal to thank me that she was ok.

Hello. Just been a cold quick walk. Some snow still lying.Saturday was a busy day.We had our beautiful walk in the morning when all was dark and sparkly and no one else had walked on the snow. The snow was covered in leaves. It had obviously made the last leaves hanging fall off. Very pretty.
Then I was picked up and went out with The Chap’s parents and DD2 ( the Chap was working) went to a dog friendly cafe which was lovely. And I picked up the bill for that one as the last time they paid. So I just sneaked to pay when I was heading to the loo. I had waffles with raspberry components all over. Then we went to the beach. Different one to the one I normally go to. Just had the pup and he and the best time! In and out the sea!Home and hello to my doggy! We snuggled up.Back out for dinner later. A new pizzeria opened in next big town. So was picked up. Fed. Watered. Dropped off. All very nice. And nice to be out and hearing the buzz of chatter around us. But I’m really such a home body and was glad to get back. And hello to my doggy and up to bed!8 -

3. COming home to the warmth. Only took about two hours to warm up
4. a hedgelayers christmas do. At the railway station cafe. Was really nice.
5. my bed.

For the last few days,
Have been laid low with heavy cold, started feeling rough Thursday so stocked up on lemons, honey, ginger and paracetamol.
Lots of HM soup and easy meals in the freezer meant we still could have nutritional food with hardly any effort although my appetite isn’t great.
Have been well cared for by Capt S, making me hot drinks, changing the bed and making sure small dog got her walks, lovely man.
Thats about it folks.

Hope you feel better soon Lainey 😊
Recent pleasures:
Lunch with old headteacher, I had the “light” fish and chips and it was the size of a fish finger!🤣 she had the “light” scampi and had 10 pieces!🤣. Still, we had a good catch up and it cheered her up as life has been somewhat difficult recently.
The boiler is making weird noises, but CH is working thankfully, it’s under warranty and engineer is coming out on Friday.
The highlight of my week has been going to to see ABBA Voyage on Friday evening. It was spectacular! It was an organised coach trip from my BFs town and it is definitely the way to do it. Comfortable coach, no hassle of trains and tubes, Prosecco and homemade sausage rolls 😊. I stayed the night at my friends as I didn’t fancy the dark, icy drive home on the M11 and M25, so that was a nice change. Called in her local large Tesco for a quick shop and came out with a lovely cream coloured teddy fleece coat, half price.
Have a super Sunday, I’m staying in the warm and cooking a roast chicken later, going to do it in a roasting bag with lemon 🍋, garlic and rosemary 😋8 -

For yesterday,
Quiet day at home as still under the weather, just picked at food as no appetite.
Did get out for a short walk in the afternoon, first time I’d been out of the house in four days so felt good to breath in fresh air.
Watched some FA cup football and then the City / Spurs game.
That’s about it again.7 -
