3) Off to the cafe for a cooked breakfast.
4) Bigger son went home and I went to M and S for a pot of tea and to do some Arabic.
5) Had the key today, so feeding next doors cats was no problem!
6) Went to my parents for a cup of tea and a scone.
7) Was nearly felled by hayfever so spent some time sealed in my room. My school friend phoned.
8) An Indian takeaway for tea.9 -

It's been a busy week so apologies for not dropping by earlier. Wednesday probably best not revisited - workety work till far too late. Thursday went in a whirl but did manage to get to choir practice (hooray). so let's go to Friday. Graduation day.
1) prize giving - soooo lovely meeting the students and their parents
2) then lunch with a couple of collegues
3) then graduation - I was on the front row on the stage and it was very very warm. but it was fabulous
4) then the garden party with strawberries and prosecco - very posh - and a ceilidh - and bumped into my old provost who was up from oxfordshire with his wife for his neice's graduation - she was dentistry which this year was with the medics hence us being at the same graduation
5) then up to mennie's for the tail end of ex neighbour's 70th celebration - he's a very keen biker and sent his regards to my ex and my ex's new husband, also both bikers. had a loooooong chat with Dr M so that made up for things

Used to work opposite the entrance to Cam Botanicals & and our company had free lunch time passes, happy days.
Belated birthday wishes to Frith
For yesterday,
Up early and got a chicken in the oven to roast before high heat of day.
While it was roasting I took small dog for a walk around the fields, we surprised a roe deer out of cover and it bounced off through the crop.
Caught up on the shenanigans of Ambridge and then sat outside in the shade reading my latest Louise Penny book.
We have a lot of clover coming up in our grass, the honey bees love it so careful where we all tread.
The hot sun finally drove us inside where we all flopped about, snoozing and keeping cool.
Wind changed direction, westerly and windows open to much cooler breeze, bliss.

Hello. My working week is done. Hurrah!Up early…having woken last night thinking it was this morning…it was 10.30pm 😆
I thought I’d slept in!Anyway up early and into work. Home for a bit mid morning. Just missed the rain when I got back to work.Three strawberries this morning! Doggy enjoyed them.Steady day and alright tips. Glad to be finished.Home and could I watch a puppy. It’s been a week since he was here so my big grump was a bit overwhelmed with a slightly more boisterous pupper…so they both had some time out! Then they were alright with each other.Nice to see but nice to wave a paw goodbye! I’ll see him again tomorrow morning!Hung a washing out after work but I’m just leaving it out overnight as it’s not quite dry and don’t want to put up clothes horses!Just listening to the blackbirds sing their evensong.7 -
1 Spent the morning deep cleaning, changing our bedding, hoovering and mopping the whole house.
2 Spent all afternoon getting the first coat of undercoat on all around everywhere that needed it, I’m happy with the first coat, I’ll be even happier when the main coat is finished.
3 A lot of gardening also achieved, soil dug and sorted from intruder bluebells, rose plants planted with campanula which was gifted and snapdragons a bargain.
4 Sticking to the meal planning, build your own fajitas was tea, and in the freezer, I found an apple pie in slices from one of the lidl deals, wow it was delicious with a cinnamon crust.
5 We sat in the garden for an hour or so with a cuppa, to tired to move/

HI everyone.
Well, a very lazy day here in comparison to you busy bees.
Today's pleasures:
1) Love waking up on a Monday morning, had a lovely sleep as it's quite a bit cooler than of late so my bed was 'just right'.
Can't beat your own bed and nice to be able to come to gradually.
2) To the breast screening clinic for my final three year mammogram. However, in view of the fact that my mum had breast cancer I was told that I can self-refer in three years' time and can keep doing that for as long as I want to. More a relief than a pleasure I suppose but very reassuring.
3) An afternoon of reading, just lovely.
4) Have now tried on both of my 'wedding' outfits in full - one for the wedding and one for the next day garden party - right down to handbags, jewellery, perfume (my mum's, the bride is her great granddaughter) and dry day and wet day shoes for the garden party day. If I say so myself, the £18 supermarket frock looks just fab! Fortunately the family dinner on the wedding eve is going to be lot more casual, really hate being stuffed up in proper clothes these days and I no longer wear heels very often so will need to practice: am currently channelling the !!!!!! Emery walk for those who are old enought to remember!
5) Used the sonic machine contraption to clean my jewellery so all is lovely and sparkly once more. That was the sum total of my cleaning for the day!
Right, just about time for bed. Hope you enjoyed your day - last Monday of June, the year is passing very quickly!

Haha!! Just read back and seen the shortened version of Richard has been censored!!!
I'll be getting a reputation for blaspheming though I would have thought the capital D might have given the game away!
Off to be with a chuckly - another pleasure for the day!7 -
Oh no, another laugh - that, of course, was off to bed with a chuckle - thought that may not be allowed either. Sorry .... will stop misbehaving now!!8
