Broomstick, we also watched the V&A programme, don’t know why but I had presumed it was an old series so now have the pleasure of going back through the episodes.
For yesterday,
Into horsey town for a few provisions, last shop of the month and we just scrapped in under budget but it’s getting harder.
At the stables, no work today just a long groom and pamper session.
Spent an enjoyable couple of hours with elderly pal, her hubbie had those knee pad thingies on as he’d been gardening and we joked about him going skateboarding, he’s 94.
Its turned very cold here as well, jacket spuds for tea.
Warm PJ’s, a hoodie plus a blanket to snuggle under as we watched mother episode of Julia.

Sue sending you a big squeeze! I’m sure a year ago you could never have imagined coming this far so good on you for keeping on at keeping on. And for all the hard days when tomorrow is another day and you try again. And for keeping putting one foot in front of the other when you could really just run away from it all. Much love 💕

1. Haywire yesterday. Late msg plea meant hurried Communion, then miles away beyond Debden Green to collect someone planning one funeral, then taking another in Town of Gown. That done, drove person back in time for Council and election biz. Passed some lovely bits of country new to &.
2. Diary day written off - another typical 'Man Plans, God Laughs'. Back to river eventually and carried on fixing last rugby preview for the season while watching MUCH rowing training. 'Bumps' and Henley are approaching fast. Heron indignant, raucous.
3. Wore new CS long slinky/floaty lined skirt. Love it - bias cut crinkle chiffon panels and colours. Trousers, too - flowers splodged on white.💜💚🤍💙❤
4. Glad of black green tea in Thermos, plus healthy & good girl apple and clouds of cotton willow fluff blowing about, some into car.
5. Spoke to 4 children arriving late at River, smoking, eating chips, chucking a lot about, skiting(good NZ word)about their stolen bikes, throwing rubbish down, all of 2 strides from an obvious bin. &'s All Black bloodline deployed..... Paper, muck and plastic retrieved by 2 young girls and 2 boys, posted with face-saving ceremony into bin. End justified means.

Was in at work early this morning for an hour.
Started to paint my dolls house. Only taken 2 weeks.
Tidied my real house!Just climbed in to nice clean bedding.
Reclined on garden sofa.
Read for a while.Bit of gardening. Two buckets worth in the garden bin. Tied up the runaway honeysuckle. Edged the lawn ( I use the term lawn in a very loose manner!😆) planted a tray of pansies I’d got for 88p.
Been a nice quiet day.11
