5 OS pleasures in your day today - part 3

Aahhh DD, what loveliness.
This week my niece showed me a clip of a 'carer' feeding a koala some water, holding the water bottle for it, but the koala wanted that person to hold it's hand as well. (Sorry, that was really lumpy grammar/language). Anyway, incredibly heart warming. I would have given almost anything to be that carer.
Tough day today. Did manage to speak to a consultant. Oodles of things going wrong for my Dad but most borderline. Except he had a 'hypo' today. More serious than being hyperglyceamic. Everyone I told (siblings etc) reacted with the same question. How did that happen whilst he was in hospital. I don't know. A question to be asked today.
They have not found the source of the pain (they think they have, I don't agree) and are ready to discharge him again. But if they cannot control his diabetes in hospital how can we at home ? His levels fell to 3.1...........coma territory (am only repeating what medical practitioners have told me). Anyway, the list is long and I have work to do.
2 pleasures...
Whilst waiting for my Mum at the hospital (yes, lumps being investigated) I watched 2 women say goodbye to each other. They went in for the longest, firmest hug I have seen for a very long while. Their love for each other was tangible.
One of my brother's sent me a text thanking me for being here with my parents (absolutely no need but appreciated nonetheless) and said he loves me. We have always had a scratchy, bumpy relationship.........My response was that I love him too, always have, always will. That led us back to emoji's as too many words had been used......tee-hee
Am missing Tiggy like mad. Keep wanting to grab other people's dogs for a cuddle.
Hope you are all sleeping soundly
