It's all coming back now ...
Well, off to a flyer anyway!
Yous not supposed to understand the nonsense that BoP writes!DundeeDoll said:BOP's post? i only understand them when they're about the beautiful game or snorkers!
Now with more nonsense of BoP's world
Just to say, BoP did has his snorkers and best back this morning for his brakefest! There, and I had some tea as well! Another good start too the day!
Measured up yesterday for curtains inn the front room, and has them delivered this morning. They are now up. Just redid the curtain track and they are swish! Nice finish now. I has too limit the in house jobs otherwise I will run out. Just got the kitchen to do, but that can weight!
Watched another flix on the net thing last evening. Faith, Hope & Love. Very good for the likes of Ms DD. Bit unusual and has some Eastern Orthodox in it? Sorted out another flix for this evening. Just with the lack of sport on at the moment, finding it hard to keep the sky and TV Tax. I reckon it shall be gone!
BoPsie ordered the trays for the BBQ this Sunday. We has them. She did it online and we weres inn and out inn no time. Snorkers are being sourced tomorrow. please note, BoP has arranged with Raffles that Sunday is the day for the BBQ. Got it? Wobbleades are chilling inn the refrigerator!
That is all from BoP

Art'noon all
pleasures for yesterday
1. glorious, gorgeous weather - felt like abroad
2. washing dried on the line (it's a while since i mentioned the washing).
3. met up with a friend in her garden - i know slightly outside the rules but we were socially distancing and i took my own tea. No different to meeting her in a park, really.
4. barbecue - had to be done on such a glorious day.
5. family film night - DD's choice, which was Stardust based on a Neil Gaiman story - kind of fantasy / fairy taley / comedy.
And for today
1. listened back to my mock viva - not quite as cringey as i feared. Some bits need working on though.
2. lunch in the garden
3. finished this batch of marking - should be no more until July
4. did a 6 1/2 mile walk with OH (he'd already done a 30 mile bike ride!)
5. he is cooking quiche for tea...
have a good evening
I wanna be in the room where it happens14 -
We are going through something at the moment that affects us and the animals, it’s not virus related, I’m just grabbing onto pleasures.
1 Yesterdays shopping delivered some turkey mince, with half of it I’ve made turkey and cous cous burgers for freezer stock. The other half has created a “base” packed with garlic, onion, beans it’s been spag bol tonight with enough leftovers for either a lasagne or chilli tomorrow.
2 I have avoided the news purposefully, I might catch just one broadcast late evening, a noticeable pleasure.
3 4 loads of washing hanging out in the beautiful weather, not sure I can be arrised to bring it in so hoping it doesn’t shower.
4 Taking time to watch the birds feeding their young ones on our feeders.
5 Phew, brief panic, I just remembered to book home shopping slots I keep forgetting as it’s so far in advance now.

Hope you're OK, PK.
Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) A lie in.
2) Bigger son went on a bike ride with my brother (still 2m apart! - we haven't been in a house other than this one for 9 weeks).
3) No muck today! Someone must have got there first. Watered the allotment - all looking OK.
4) Bigger son went canoeing down the Teme with my brother in law and niece (in a separate boat! He had his lunch before setting off so when they stopped on the bank to eat theirs, he just went swimming in the river).
5) Chatted to downhill neighbours about gardening and the hedgehog I saw last night.
6) Refereed sons playing tennis.
7) Did the virtual pub quiz.
8) In bed now and will watch First Dates Hotel. Hoping for a bit of rain.

Good morning
PK hope whatever it is, that it is manageable. Have missed your stories about your little ones.
Another early start. News on my wildlife...........
6am yesterday morning there was a noise in the garden which had to be investigated. I couldn't work out how this slight fox was lifting a heavy metal lid off the dustbin. All was revealed. As I watched she bunched the part of the bin liner that sits over the rim and used it as a lever to lift the lid. Once she saw me she bounded to about 10 feet away and I can never tell if she is waiting for me to offer food or waiting for me to shoo her away. I just watch. She did come back and sit on the garage roof but I out waited her. I would love to feed her but absolutely no one would approve. However, I did accidentally drop a piece of ham...............
My Mallen streaked crow was back. I capitulated and compromised by putting a bowl of food on the table which it ate. All of it. I don't think it is very well. It's always alone and it's mouth is always open and I think it is quite young.
I put buckets and buckets of water around the garden for the birds. Not sure if any partook but did see 2 birds that I have never seen before and couldn't find when I did some googling. Perhaps a little smaller than a sparrow. They were hanging onto the stalks of those ball shaped thingies that you blow on to make a wish. They also hovered much like a hummingbird would but didn't have the right beaks or colours.
It made me think of my bucket list and how most on it is nature related. Would love to see hummingbirds and king fishers in the wild. In the meantime am always delighted by what goes on in the garden and know that I am very lucky.
Have a wonderful day..........

Good morning, did attempt a post last night but it got schlooped up to wherever lost almost finished posts go to!Yesterday was a bit of a mixed bag.Was up and about early. Out with dog then did supermarket before seven o’clock and dropped stuff off at mums before she was awake ( I’d told her I’d be in and out early) cats got an extra breakfast!Hoovered downstairs. Did all three bathrooms.
Got washing outside once the rain stopped. Then the day went poop and I felt despairing as I had to go through paperwork for DD2 college application ( for funding) and she just kind of sprung it on me with a ‘I need to do this now’ and then went through the process of verification for government site which was a faff and downloading apps and are you happy with this selfie? Nooo...because it’s week one zillion in lockdown and I’ve not been near a hairdresser since January. But that selfie would just have to do! Anyway we got it all done but I felt emotionally drained and had hugs from both children and the dog! I hate tax stuff. I hate that I only get the pensions I do because I’m widowed. So I phoned for a takeaway which has only recently reopened and was delicious and was so sad I sat and watched The Chase! And answered lots of questions and the team won. Hurrah! Then came to bed early but DD2 was chattering on for ages and I really just wanted peace and quiet! And I didn’t go out and clap but could hear the neighbours doing so.Anyway today is of course another day. Very windy here,,,have just had to throw on clothes to pick up my recycling bin off the ground.Have a good day and I shall endeavour to have a better one!17 -
1. On holiday so no work. Always a good day. Felt too much better.
2. Time spent in the garden. Enjoyed the sun.
3. Messaging various friends throughout the day.
4. Glass of wine with DH in the garden.
5. Clapped and had a chat with neighbours at 8. Disappointed to see some people down the road were in each other's gardens and standing next to each other.
DS1 had a meeting at work and was told he would be made redundant at end of July. He seems ok about it and has already applied for a couple of jobs. His entire team have been made redundant. He may find something before July.

Seems like a number of hugs are needed in the parish, PK, Mhags and VL.
For yesterday,
Our mornings seem to be getting earlier & earlier, beloved jumped up at the pips thinking it was 9am but it was only 8.
After living in the cottage for 13 years I discovered that our sash windows not only slide open but they tilt as well!
My bf sent me a link for Turbo bread, she swears by it so will give it a go.
Then, my hairdresser messaged to say he was planning to reopen on 4th July and would I like an appointment the following week, yes yes yes! Only 6 weeks to wait.....
Made an egg & bacon pie for tea, Mum’s recipe ❤️15
