I'm looking for that place, now what's it called?...... Oh yes- square one- that's what it's called! Back to where I started, probably due to being on holiday from work this week and having a lot of coffee and cake catch ups with friends. I doubt the premier inn all you can eat breakfasts last week helped.
I've ended up the same weight as I started, which is a positive and I'm still 13lbs lighter than when I started my " not on a diet diet" so all good there.
Put me down for 4lbs again please Knitwitch, if that happens then great, if I stay this weight then perhaps it's meant to be. Still would like to get rid of the excess tummy roll but buying a M and S lemon drizzle cake yesterday won't help! Hey ho, it counts as one of your 5 a day, right?
Happy Sunday everyone x0 -
Weigh in tomorrow morning. I'm going to be up on this challenge. This is the third I've done, and I've repeated the process. At this rate I'm going to end the year weighing the same or worse, more, than I started the year. Grrrrrrrrr.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0

Could I please join the next challenge KnitWitch? I've been here before but life became a bit complicated and I'm not good with complications....but everything seems to be alright just now. Hello to everyone else here - some names I recognise and some are new.
I'm having a bit of a problem with exercise at the moment. I fell down the stairs a weeks and a half ago and what looked like a simple graze on my leg has morphed into something that requires dressing changes every day (and they won't let me do it at home myself either as it needs to be "checked"). Official instructions are to rest and keep my leg elevated as much as possible. At least if I have to stay indoors there's no excuse for not making healthy meals. Silver linings and all that
I'd like to lose 7lbs for the next challenge. I seem to lose count halfway through too, so my official start weight today is 15st 11lbs. I would like to be 15-4 by the end of this challenge. Now I can check back to this post if I lose track of where I'm up to0 -
welcome cranky sorry to hear about your leg hope its better soon do keep getting it checked as better safe than sorry
think im on square one as well hope there is plenty of space...oh well we are trying and thats a start xxxonwards and upwards0 -
Hi cranky. Amazing the people you meet in unexpected places.
I am dreading standing on the scales tomorrow, this last week has been a bit of disaster.
Anyway, a new start tomorrow and I intend to be very, very good. So good in fact that I may even grow a little curl, right in the middle of my forehead.
See you then.
You'll notice that a merciful veil has been drawn over my intake for the last few days.
Mmmmmm!I believe that friends are quiet angels

How about some arm exercises? Sit with your poorly leg raised and do arm curls or raises - make them harder by holding a can or water bottle in each hand.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

It's been too sore to contemplate doing anything other than feel sorry for myself. After the first hospital dressing on Friday it was 2am Saturday morning before I could sleep because of the pain. I'm not making excuses but I have bruises from my head to my toes on my right hand side (I smacked my head on the wall when I landed too, sigh). For the first week the pain under my ribs made me shout if I laughed, coughed or leaned too far over but that's starting to wear off now thank goodness. I'm going to try some gentle housework tomorrow as the house is starting to show signs of neglect. My 12 year old son has been helping as much as possible with fetching and carrying but I think some sort of general cleaning needs to be started even if I only do a room a day.
Hello Monna0 -
I avoided the final weigh in because I knew it wouldn't be good - I'm such a coward!
However tomorrow is another day as Scarlet o'Hara said, so I will face the scales and try again. I've been on my sons Netflix account watching all those shocking documentaries about what's in our food and health in general
I could write a book on all the things I SHOULD do and eat, it's just putting it into action that is my stumbling block :rotfl:
Really good luck everyone for this challenge, I hope we're all looking fab by Christmas xx0 -
