Not a terribly active day today, although I did wander round the house with a feather duster and rendered a few spiders homeless.

    Breakfast: boiled egg and crispbread

Lunch: chicken salad followed by SF jelly

Extras: few prunes. 2 C rispbreads with marmite and cottage cheese.

I have a vague feeling that a couple of choc digestives found their way into my mouth. Now, how did that happen?

    Hey Guys,

I would really like to join, if I may?
I'm using My Fitness Pal (MFP) to track my calories and macros, and trying to stay high protein, but I'm lacking accountability.

I'm trying to set myself small goals, so if we're doing this on a 13 week cycle, I would aim to lose 14lbs in that time.

Do let me know if there is anything else I need to do.

nothing too taxing - post as much or as little as you like on here, then once a week (on whatever day works for you) simply post your WI for the last week. Try and make it obvious so that Knit Witch, who started this whole thing, can spot it and update the chart. We work in amount lost (or gained) and there is no need to quote your actual weight.
    Good luck in your journey.

Had a bad day yesterday, couple of friends here for lunch I did a cold meat salad plus lots of bits and pieces like olives, cheese, nuts, chutneys etc. It was the bits and pieces that were left on the table that kept finding their way into my mouth, lunch and chat took about 2hrs so you can imagine how much found its way into my mouth.

Dinner was almost as bad, I decided to have a little of what DH was having - just a very small amount!!!, turkey soup/stew with dumplings, but I just had to have a bread roll and a glass of the red stuff.

Bad day and the scales reflected that this morning :(

Today:- hoping to be better :D

Lunch:- left over salad, leaves, toms, cucumber etc, 1 tbs salad cream
Dinner: salmon with more salad, no high fat dressings
trying to drink 2L of water today, plus the usual coffee.

    Morning all.

B: lo carb granola, berries, skim
    L: something veggietastic
D: fishcake, salad, corn on cob. I am trying to clear down the freezer so we will each be having something different that can be oven baked - we always end up with lots of single items as we are a family of 3. DD will have chicken kiev and DH will have breaded cod - they will both have wedges.

    Hi Everyone,
I'd very much like to join too please. I've been here before (several times!) I intend to set my W.I. day as Sunday. I won't be losing anything this week or next as we are on holiday so I will post my starting weight on 1st October. I think doing this (cos I know you don't ask people to post their actual weight) will make me more accountable. I'll be using My Fitness Pal to track calories and will be 5:2-ing to help. I used to use a paid for website to track calories which also had a great community section for support which I miss but I couldn't justify the expense, hence why I'm here!
    Have a great day all,
    PJ x

Thanks Knit-Witch much appreciated. Does this one run for 13 weeks again?

Count me in for the next challenge.

Secretly I'd love to lose 18lb which will take me out of this stone, all the way through the next and just into the one below. Psychologically that would be a real boost. However, I weighed less than that when I was at the end of both my pregnancies which just shows you how much I still have to lose.
Realistically I'm going to aim for 14 lb. The last time I weighed that was in 1986. It was in the recession and we had just bought a new house, mortgage rates were sky high and it was very scary to say the least.

Nope this is a 12 week one - I am not so heartless as to make to suffer healthy eating over Yule :D
