Knit Witch! Never! I've never heard of such a thing. I wonder what dire shortcomings and inferiorities that person must have had to be able to make that sort of remark. Obviously one of those people you come across occasionally who can only raise themselves up by pushing other people down.
Never mind petal, you are worth a dozen of someone like that.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Knit witch..that was so cruel....please feel enveloped in love....
I should like to be light enough to hurt less and to look nicer...less sort of billowy and squashy....less of "a traditional build", more elegant and with a greater choice of clothes styles.
We had courgette and goat flan for tea followed by apples in pastry cos i made too much. ...i had much less than him plus the famous painkillers....and a glass of wine....maintaining that traditional build I did note...not much hope of weight loss tomorrow.
It is cold (14 degrees) and hammering down with rain. Tomorrow I want soup.0 -
Gain 1 lb
Much better night's sleep and the back is improving. It's only 11 degrees this morning and the hazel leaves are turning yellow!
Todays plan
B. Coffee, yog ,berries, oats
L. Tomato and pepper soup, boiled egg
D. Fish with veg from the garden...mostly green beans, and parsley sauce, rice for DH.
I shall try to drink more water today.
I wish you all success in your weigh-ins.0 -
Thank you for your good wishes TiredTrophy, some of them have obviously floated in my direction because not only have I lost the 2lbs I put on last week, but another one has joined them. So............here goes, I've given up on trying to change the colour.
3lbs off please KnitWitch.
Now let's see how my tablet can mess that up.
ETA. Not bad, not quite the way I typed it but so be it.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Hi everyone! I've been away and didn't keep to any sort of diet, but it hasn't been too disastrous on the weight front.
I currently weigh in at 84kg. I started the challenge at 87.5, so that's a total loss on the whole challenge of 3.5kgs = 7.7 lbs. the current table shows 6.5, so I'm claiming a drop of 1.2 lbs.
Something tells me my target of 28 lbs was a bit too ambitious! :rotfl:No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Hello everyone :hello:
Long time no see as with all the stress and problems we have had at home, weightloss wasn't top of my list. HOWEVER, it is a new month, a new season and I feel ready to start again. I have abandoned all of my weightwatchers, slimming world and nutracheck subcriptions and will just use myfitnesspal to record my diet.
Knitwitch, I know there are a few weeks left in this challenge but I will wait to join the next one if that is ok x
I would still like to record my mealplan here and get inspiration from you lovely lot so todays food looks like this:
b - 3 hardboiled eggs and a gigantic cup of tea
l - leftover beef chilli and a tablespoon of grated cheese
d - 2 battered cod fillets, salad and a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
I am trying to cut down my carbs as I am type 2 diabetic and my bloodsugars have been far too high for too long.
Hope you all have a great day and make good choices xx0 -

I am diabetic, too. Nothing wrong with gigantic cups of tea, or two or three, for diabetics, but beware what you add to them. Sugar, obviously, has lots of carbs, but people forget that so does milk. 50 ml of milk has almost as much carbohydrate as a teaspoon of sugar, believe it or not. The carb content is much the same for skimmed milk as full fat.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I am a big fan of MFP. As soon as I stop using it my weight creeps up.
I am looking forward to getting back on track once DD goes back to school on Tuesday. Then the stress of it being GCSE year will probably help!!!!I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

i have just switched to "light" soya milk, i'm now wondering about the carbohydrates in it? (i thought it might be good for my bones (oestioarthritus) and iffy tummy (reflux)0
