A 2lb loss for me Knitwitch, at last I seem to have got back into the swing of things.

I'm eating loads of low calorie salads, making my own dressings or buying the lighter than light mayo and mixing it with no fat yogurt. The other thing I'm doing is soup in the slow cooker. The scales live permanently on the kitchen worksurface at the moment.
Fortunately my veg plot has started to produce which does help to keep costs down. Today I collected the first peas, salad leaves, rocket, radishes, asparagus, french beans, tiny turnips a few strawberries and new potatoes, but I won't be eating the potatoes.

Lunch:- cooked red cabbage, apple and onion, no sugar but I did add sweetner
Dinner:- a sort of waldorf salad but with pears not apples and a couple of boiled eggs from the chooks. Followed by strawberries and black pepper, no cream or sugar.

I'm bruising very easily at the moment, my hands and arms are full of bruises, I only have to knock myself slightly and I come up in lumps which turn into horrible bruises. I've an appointment with the consultant at the end of the month so I'll ask if I can reduce the dosage of my tabs, plus 'when can I apply to get my HGV licence back' I know I don't have to retake a test again but just pass the medical but the biggest question will be 'when can I start the process to get my knees done' I'll then be totally bionic :rotfl::rotfl:

    Breakfast nothing
Lunch nothing until about 4pm - HM coleslaw, saved on the mayonnaise calories by adding no fat yogurt to it
Dinner - a different HM coleslaw, put carrot, fennel and sultanas in it, plus 3 hard boiled eggs followed by a pear and 4 oatie biscuits.

I want to lose weight, i need to lose weight, i have no motivation to lose weight,
i also have a ‘bad leg’ severely damaged my leg just over a year ago, however i do walk my dog every day (up to 3 miles) but with not a lot of speed but i do it and enjoy it. I spin once a week which my physio has told me it is great i can do it although i cannot do all the standing on the bike but i can still cycle fast and do hill work for an hour which is an achievement in itself. I cannot ride a bike and she has said that one spin class a week is enough. i don’t fancy swimming as don’t particularly want to put a swim suit on this side of the uk, lol. :rotfl: Its non weight bearing exercise to help strengthen my leg you see.

So that takes me back to diet, portion control is where i am going wrong, i need help!

    klew. Welcome.

Smaller plates would be a good start. Also, strangely enough, smaller cutlery. Try using a desert fork and knife, it slows up the rate at which you can shovel food in.
