  • I could scream, have been doing OK, couple of lbs here and there over last 10 days, but suddenly my blood sugars have dropped quite a lot, unusual for me, so I rang doc, have appointment today. Have had to put a halt to the "diet". Think I had not been having enough carbs, not absolutely stopped put potatoes about twice, same with rice etc but still having porridge & fruit for brekkie. Maybe it is not the diet, will see what they say, so after a weekend trying to build up my carbs I may have put on about half pound. Also have been doing a mini walk (5mins) but my other hip (am seeing consultant this month re another op) has been playing up so not been able to increase just yet. Feeling really low, and thats not me at all, maybe that is the sugar (type 2).Not going to cry though, just scream.

    I think I'm on the cusp of another pound, but it didn't register on the scales. Stayed the same this week.

    D jacket b beans, sprinkle of cheese
    S cereal bar around 11 yoghurt
