Hello everyone, can I join in from today please?
Looong time away from the forums, finding myself slipping in all sorts of ways. One slip was 'over' and I broke an ankle in Feb, resulting in an end to the New Year New Me plan. Convenience, limited mobility, pain, emotional snacking, tired husband... all contributed to me regaining the 11lbs I had lost up to that point. Hello BMI of 30 my old fiend. I also spent a bit too much on beer and takeaways, so there's money to be saved too in this.
I am hoping honesty and food logging, putting the purse away, trying to gad about on my stick a bit more and more veg, less vegging will mean I start shedding this again, though I don't expect such a good start as last time.
Thanks all!

Your poor ankle!
I hope it heals soon. Are you able to swim with it yet?
A while back, I broke my ankle right across. It was not considered severe enough for me to get physio so I paid for three sessions privately and now I hike in the mountains....well, today I slipped silly idiot, but it was not the fault of the ankle!
Yes zaf. Thats the name of the book....many yummy things in there...but I do not believe his portions in the recipes...apply common sense.
Leg up...stopped bleeding...not risking a shower
Hope your are coping ok knitwitch...thinking of you0 -

Good morning everyone :j
Hope your knee and ankle heal up quickly TT so you can get back to your exercising.
I am a complete sloth when it comes to moving around, hopefully that will improve the more weight I lose.
Chocolate had started to creep back in to become a daily 'treat' and if it's every day, where is the treat element to it? So I have binned it all and have ordered myself some sugar free jellies to have as a pudding as I miss having something sweet after my dinner.
My meals today are as follows:
b - 2 bread rolls with plain tuna in
l - chicken breast, dry roast potatoes, asparagus and cauliflower
d - ham and egg salad
s - sugar free jelly, milk for teas
Hope you all have a good day today xx0 -
B - scrambled eggs and smoked salmon
L - half an avocado and smoked salmon
T - beef tagine
All from the BSD0
