Somewhat late congratulations to YL's DS.atypicalblonde wrote: »You would be proud of me ladies. Had one lady who I've worked for who is a total PITA, very rude and condescending. Today I thought - s** this, no more. So polite text sent saying I won't be doing anymore work for her - feel liberated :j
Not a very productive day I fear; managed to do the towel and hanky wash this morning - including the towel we loaned Sasha because she didn't have one in her suitcase - and lost the rest of the day to another dratted migraine.
I suspect lying awake til gone 05:00 a.m. last night didn't help.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
HB thanks for kind words, maybe the tiredness is nothing more than your body saying it needs a bit of a rest.
Go atb, love your attitude x
Mummyof5 poor DS. I used to get a tiny bit of eczema on my hands and it was horrible, cant imagine having it all over my body.
So my day. Well, took Dad to hospital, got him home then straight to job no. 1, worked till 5, then home. DH and DS2 have been at home all day but they took themselves off to play golf leaving me to finish the washing up and I had to run the hoover around (darned dog hairs). Then a phone call to brother to update him on the Dad situation, then an hour on job no. 2. I am so behind on job no. 2 now I cant even think about it.
I am a complete moaning minnie but I think a week off has made me realised that juggling two jobs is really affecting me. Trouble is I have just seen a full time job I would like to do and the pay is about £6k a year less - and I would be working 7 hours a week more! And at the moment we need the money. Ah well.
DS2 has just made me a cup of tea, bless him. Time to switch this off and put jim jams on.0 -
Do I get kicked out of the Flyladies if I admit I have advertised for a cleaner?Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0

Lots of pats on the back offered to lots of fabulous fly ladies. ATB - you go girl!
I'm not quite sure what flying has been achieved here today. I actually did some dressmaking this morning - started some trousers which were meant for a wedding reception, which came and went about 6 weeks ago! I made a good start but honestly the GB sewing bee has a lot to answer for.
Library van visited and unputdownable book successfully renewed. HH paperwork decluttered. Old paperwork sorted for shredding. Cake baked. HH gardening done. Kitchen had a much needed s&s. And that was about it. Back to job 1 tomorrow, and not particularly looking forward to it. I've got quite used to an easy couple of days. Ah well.0 -

We'll all be wildly jealous! Bit far for Mr N to commute I feel.....Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning everyone.
Yesterday was Tai Chi then lunch and shoppping with DD. My sciatica seems to be easing so I'm pleased about that.
New towels washed.
Wudupa
Dailies done.
Today it's volunteer job then DDs for tea. So bit of flying before I go.
The house isn't too bad as I've managed to do bits of the lists as the week has gone on.
A few weeks ago I had the cavity wall at the front cleaned out and a new damp course put in. Seems a difference now in the living room.0 -
Thanks for your lovely supportive words ladies. She didn't even have the courtesy to text me back - I think I have had a lucky escape!

Last day of term here too...six lloooonngg weeks ahead. Joy. I have made rice krispie cakey things for the coffee morning fundraiser, wrapped flowers for teachers, got cards written by the boys, sent Small in with sweets to share with his classmates, will attend said coffee morning, meet with electrician after lunch, paint, sweep, seal floors, order fireplace blackener, clean chickens, de-flea pets, drink wine, collapse in heap and sleep for a thousand years.
But first, I shall forget to put out the recycling...
ATB - atta girl! Who needs people like that?
FBO - I'm sooo jealous. I need a cleaner so badly. I'm dreading the clean up so we can move back into the house!
LW - get well vibes flying through the ether...
Fayolle - I dream of time to sew.
YL - you need to go on strike like Bossy! Seriously.
Sorry, can't remember anything else, so hugs all round xxx0 -

Morning,
9:40 they went to bed  not so bad for Master Moo but little Miss had a hard time getting up this morning!
Thankfully we have remembered our manners this morning, not sure how long that will last.
Today I am glo-whiting some school shirts, cleaning 2 bathrooms and (still) nursing a cold. Will also strip and remake some beds.
First I'm going to try reinstall something on the firestick...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
