    Morning all

Yesterday I managed to finish weeding the back garden before it rained heavily overnight. It smells lovely and fresh out there this morning.
I also did the food shopping and walked Rosie. She is settling well, enjoys being outside and loves her walks. Yesterday evening we were out for over an hour. Does me good too!

Hope things have calmed down for you now, Natty.

    :bdaycake:
Belated birthday wishes to mrs-mp, and congratulations to your DD. You sound as busy as ever!

Hope YL and Bossy are feeling better today. Well done to your DS1, YL.

Glad you're getting lots of bookings, LW.

    Today's plan:
    - take Rosie for her morning walk
    - shower and breakfast
    - tackle the cane toad!
    - this afternoon go to Music Assembly at the village school - DGD1 will be playing her recorder :)
    - church council meeting tonight, which is why the cane toad must be dealt with today!
    - no time for college reading :(

Have a good day, everyone - hope no-one is flooded x

    Morning all :)

I've just had to log in again too. It's been making me do this for a few days. Luckily my password is too easy to forget :o

Happy belated birthday wishes MrsMP xxx

Congrats to your DS YL - what a great result!

DH has a good day yesterday - managed to [STRIKE]palm off[/STRIKE] give a great reference to a member of staff he's been trying to get rid of for ages, spoke to the big boss about a pay rise for himself and was contacted for an interview for a new job my friend recommended him for. We celebrated with a glass of cider each after the boys went to bed. I say went to bed in very loose terms as Tiny was a little swine and kept getting up, shooting dinosaurs, playing cars, punching Small etc. etc.

Basic flying done, but that's all folks...

Morning all. Glad I'm not the only one having to repeatedly log in, but I'd be even gladder if they'd sort it out!

Thunderstorm from 4.30 to 6.00 am so the garden has had a much needed drink and I'm glad I cut the grass yesterday morning. Bright and sunny at the moment. Hope the rain stays away because we're going out today. Sounds like we're never in but need to make the most of it while the weather is good, the winter will be here all too soon.

Not enough washing for a load today, which is good as I won't be here to grab it if it rains. I've dusted and vacuumed through downstairs and given the kitchen a wipe round and put everything away.

Have a good day all - maybe by this evening they'll have sorted the site out!

    Same here with login issues.

Thanks for the gws vibes, it's coming out as a cold. I'm on the paracetamol to keep it at bay :)

This morning I'm just having a coffee and I will tackle the dining room - abandoned since starting the decorating really :o although it still has diy bits everywhere it would benefit from a good tidy up!

  • Morning all,

I'm on it today. Just back from long dog walk, Iona Rosie looks lovely, glad she's settling in. Also good news YL re DS job.
Thanks for the lists guys, I'm off to do loads of it! I hope. Although I have a riding lesson at half one and swimming lessons after school.
I promise to do my best!

Hope you are feeling better Bossy X

Popped to Mr M's first thing to buy 20 cakes for DH and his work colleagues as it is his birthday.

Called in to see Mum with some shopping and a shirt I had attempted to remove a turmeric stain from for Dad.

This is where we went today and it was awesome :)

    https://whitehallgardencentre.co.uk/fairy-and-dragon-grotto-summer-2017

DGD2 who is 3 1/2 was absolutely gobsmacked when a real fairy was waiting at the entrance to sprinkle fairy dust on her and give her (invisible) wings. Her face was a picture:) The baby who is 7 months didn't know where to look first between the waterfalls and the lights.

So, not flying I know but I promised to post and that's what I've done today!

Looks great Pollybear and good value too, some of the prices we paid for tourist attractions while we were on hols last week just make your eyes water.

So, 24 hours in bed. Didnt make it in to work today so no idea how I am going to catch up with job no. 2. Stomach still a bit unsettled but I am on the mend.

Thanks for the kind words re DS1, so pleased for him. His employers and college have been great about the fact that he didnt manage to finish his GCSEs so its all good so far.

I have managed to sort out the post holiday washing pile but other than that I have done nothing else. Really hoping I am over the bug tomorrow, have to take Dad to hospital then get myself to job no. 1.

Ooh and belated birthday wishes to MrsMP sorry I missed it.
