    hiya peeps

remember no fridge and no cooker although im sure there will be a kettle.

pretz are you really sure or just assuming? Just because kettles are not very common in France..... you may be wise taking a small one along if you have one.

What about taking a packet of rye crackers (Ryvita or similar) and some tahini (sesame seed spread) - so long as your daughter isn't allergic to that?

How old is your daughter? as you might not want to introduce her to new food that she's not eaten before when you're on holiday

    no rye, if gluten free!

What would you usually give your daughter for snacks at home? Its so much easier now to buy gluten and lactose free items than it was 10 years ago, I had to go to the health food shops especially and order cakes and biscults mail order. Supermarkets are so good now with snacky things. I think if I wanted things to last, i would be tempted to buy packets of things like gluten free chocolate cakes, gF pretzels, biscuits, you can even by gf jaffa cakes in tescos now, lots of GF Crackers, the you could buy some dips, coleslaws to eat with the crakers.
You could make your own biscuits, cereal bars for the first couple of days, then use the prepacked things towards the end of your holiday.

    Have a great time!

If you're pregnant and hungry then eat!
Any sensible, healthy (ie not junk food) foods you fancy at the time will help give your body and your baby what it needs! Best to think 'healthy', not 'low calorie'!
Wholegrain cereal and milk or porridge , yogurt and banana, fresh fruit, jacket potato, wholemeal toast and a scrape of butter for starters!

The nausea shouldn't last for the whole pregnancy with any luck but in the meantime look for low GI foods that should stave off the low blood sugar

One really filling lunch I often have is a sweet potato microwave in it's skin like you would an ordinary spud and then cut open and add some Philadelphia ( lo fat if you want) - that keeps me feeling full for ages ( I'm not pregnant now - just greedy!)
Just call me Nodwah the thread killer

Don't worry about trying to diet during pregnancy. If you breastfeed your baby you'll lose the kilos very quickly as it takes hundreds of calories (ie. about 300-500) to make the breastmilk. It's worked for me both times and I ate a lot! Your body tells you what it needs so try not to limit yourself too much. Would herbal teas (maybe if you could find one with ginger as it's supposed to be good for nausea) work?
