Hi all - is it too late for me to join the challenge?? i've been doing slimming world for a few months now but have had a mighty fall off the wagon and have gained what i lost and some more! Each week i promise myself I am going to stick to the plan and each week it all goes horribly wrong! really struggle to "be good" when doing anything socially so some support would really help... I don't go to meetings (i'm an online member) although I am thinking maybe that's what i need??

I'm sure that's true but you must eat. Look after yourself.:A

I know I should eat but just not hungry :(
Am forcing some food down because I know I have to, but not enjoying it.

Welcome, never to late to join. Do you know how much you want to lose in the next 7 weeks? If you do I can add you to the spreadsheet

Kathrynha - thanks for the quick response - i really appreciate it. I'd like to lose 14lbs. Probably a bit ambitious given my results so far but determined to stick at it this time! How does it work - do I post my weight on a particular day each week?

Also - I know I don't know you but, I did read your earlier post about your bad news and just wanted to wish you well.. xx

    Thanks.

14 is quite do-able. A few on here have 2lb a week targets.
Just post on your weigh in day. Make the result big and red and it makes it easier to spot them. Our week works from Tuesday morning to Monday evening, so people post their results any point in the week

    Welcome ceycey.

The ever efficient kathrynha will add you to the chart and all you need to do is post your losses. Fingers crossed there'll be lots!
Unfortunately, no one on the thread has had anything very positive to say about SW online over time. Most used the first subscription to get to know the plan and then stopped. Going to a group can be good if you have a decent consultant and a good group of people but it can also be samey and tedious. My advice would be to keep posting on here as regularly as you can, put effort into meal planning and....eat loads of Speed!:DSocial occasions can be difficult but a number of us save our syns for weekends or events rather than have the 15 a day. We use a syn bank so start 'spending' from the 105 that go in the bank on WI day. Personally I eat almost syn free during the week and then have (i.e. drink :o) my syns at weekends. How much do you hope to lose overall? Feel free to ask any questions you want.

I had one small welshcake this afternoon. Oddly spread with butter?? Other than that today's syn free.:)

Holy moly - not sure how on earth this has happened but I've only gone and got -3lb this week meaning I FINALLY got my 6 stone award! I actually can't believe it after all my indiscretions this week!

In January, my consultant asked me where I wanted to be by the time the summer holidays rolled around and this was my mid year target! So I'm chuffed to have got it with a week and a half to spare until I go away. My weight loss has definitely slowed but I'm going to put it out there that I'd like to get to my 7 stone award by Christmas! Might not seem like 1 stone is much in 5 months but I've really struggled with this last 7lb and it's taken me 7 months to shift!
