We have to of our DGCs staying this week while parents are in Poland for a wedding, so lots of outings with a lot of unplanned food. On Sunday we should be away for the day (9.00 – 22.00) on the Waverley and can only carry so much picnic food. Then, next Wednesday 19th, we head off to France for 10 days (a week on a river cruise and 3 days in Nice). We get back on 29th, so I should be ready to get stuck back in by August. In the meantime, I’m sticking to SW principles most of the time, but it really is a treading water situation; my mojo isn’t quite lost, it’s just out of reach!
You’re doing really well, TG.

Thanks for that tie. That'll teach me to Speed read (excuse pun;)).
I'm going to try and up my water intake today. I seem to go in fits and starts. I did well yesterday and need to do the same today. I've got some HB leftovers in that I cooked a small piece of shin in with the steaks yesterday for me to have for lunch.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast (1 small slice), fried egg, mushrooms and tomatoes, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO beef, fried veg (inc. potato) and beetrootchicken in mushroom sauce, SW chips, green stuff (sugar snaps, peas and broccoli)
Snack: I've got half a HEB left so may have an Aldi Benefit bar
Syns: 1 or 2 for crème fraiche in mushrooms sauce (trying new recipe).0 -
You lot don't half natter! Had 4 pages to read and I've only been away for 3 days!
Sticking to plan as much as possible, although there was one day when it was double syns! Pulling it back today by not drinking any alcohol!
Only syns today has been for tonight's dinner of corned beef hash so 4 syns.
Am going out for dinner later in the week. Will definitely be syns but have chosen the best I can from the menu - a vegan curry & rice.
Off now as wifi is a bit hit and miss and don't want to push my luck!
Will try to get online in a day or two.

Sounds like you're having a good time denise . You've got me fancying corned beef hash again! Well done on having an alcohol free day on holiday. Amazing willpower!:T
The mushroom sauce was OK. I'd make it again if I had LO creme fraiche but I wouldn't buy it specially. It was a bit thin even though I measured the stock which is unusual for me.0 -
It's a good day missteach but AFAIK the couscous is free carbs so you'll have to syn the extra HEB.
As TIE said, it's not actual cous cous but blitzed up veg to look like cous cous. Like cauliflower rice.
Had a normal EE day today.
B:Necatrine, plum, pear, ham
L: chicken salad, satsuma, muller light1 syn musclefood burger, chips (3syns for oil), beans, beetroot, gherkins, onions and mushrooms
Snack in a minute: 2 x hifi (HeB) 250ml alpro almond dark choc milk (HeA) some strawberries and a kinder choc bar (6 syns)0 -

Excellent willpower on the school trip saverupper.:T Advance planning is definitely the key to success. Out of sheer nosiness, what did they do in Bournemouth?
Hi maman. It was a cheerleading competition at the Bournemouth International Centre. They were school teams competing against each other .My15yo daughter has been doing cheerleading since she started secondary school (which was the year the team was first formed). The team has had some amazing wins/places over the last couple of years, even against teams where the members have been doing cheerleading recreationally since they were really little (the teeny-tiny tots,3-4-5year olds are sooooooo cute!).
I had weigh-in tonight, and was super surprised to have had a 2.5 lb loss.I now have 9lb to lose to reach my target weight :j.
Does anyone know if,having kept my history,I need to lose the whole 9lb before I stop paying,or just 6lb to get to the 3lb either side?I was a target member,at target, when I stopped going to group.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Well, after my promise to keep reading the posts and get involved..................i didn't.
It was a busy weekend, it was carnival day in our town, the fair, street music, food stalls etc. very tempting. I was good on Saturday, had an early start at the allotment and got loads done, then ate at home so I wouldn't be tempted. Even took "special soda" in a bottle o avoid beer (my big downfall) and wen't home early - Good girl.
Sunday afternoon, sun shining, OH tempts me to a pub afternoon & to top it off - a kebab!!!!! Bad girl.
To be fair I have been on the treadmill Friday, Saturday & Monday and got back up to 3.5km following the holiday break.
Back on track yesterday food wise so hopefully not too much damage done. It took until now to catch up on here though.
Bubbs you are going to hit "it" a couple of weeks before me I'm 21st.
Right, to work.
Have a good day all0 -

Had a good day yesterday, although not sure on my body magic. Need to remember to take my Fitbit off before I do any needle felting. It's saying 9623 steps and 43 active minutes, but that is definitely not correct :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Today's plan:
Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
Lunch - egg salad
Dinner - HM pot noodle
Snacks - strawberries, cherries, grapes, cereal bars, aldi quavers
HA - milk
HB - cereal bars
Syns - salad dressing (0.5), aldi quavers (3)
BM - aiming for 7000 steps and 15 active minutes again, although I'll be pushing it today.Zebras rock0
