How did it go?
Is there any download limit?
Finally, what modem is provided and what exactly are the cut downs from the modem?0 -
Not received the text from O2 to say the line is connected... using Be* right now.
The box itself looks like an upgraded model of the one I received from Be*.. it's got a phone socket now and it's larger but very similar design.
I have read there's no download limits and the modem may have been downgraded with firmware to restrict VOIP from the box
EDIT: Just phoned customer services (0800 number, no waiting, uk call centre- i was impressed) and they've told me my activation date is tomorrow. Doh0 -

Did you have to return the BE box?0 -

Excellent....I have literally joined Be last week and then after taking a contract out for an O2 mobile I noticed the offer for broadband....hopefully shoudn't be a problem.
Very good that there is no charge for returning the modem...0 -
Im looking at joining O2 next month when i chuck out VM.
Was going to go with BT but O2 us a lot cheaper, the only down side is you dont get a VOIP phone.0 -
I had BT (option 3, with the free phone) for a year.. think i used the phone 3 times and got so frustrated with the poor quality of it I stopped using it. Waste of money for me, but i don't know anyone else that's tried it.0

Process was easy.. plus i set up email -> sms (1000 free a month!)
We shall see how it goes
I'm an 02 mobile customer, and I've just been on Quidco, and it doesn't mention anything about getting cashback for a broadband connection, when you go into the merchant, just monthly/payg/sim only deals, although it does have a header for broadband when you get onto the 02 site.
Has it tracked back yet?
Ken.That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
Have a look for 'o2 broadband' as it's own item, not o2 phones
http://www.quidco.com/o2-broadband/
