The quickest way is if your on up to 8Mpbs package and your upload is 288 your on LLU
or check here if your exchange is Orange LLU enabled they more likely have you on it.
Yes 02/Be are adsl2+ LLU
I'm pretty sure I am on LLU in my area as I experienced problems when Orange did the upgrade and I know it's available in LLU in my area.
Sounds a silly question but does that mean I can potentially get a faster connection than 4mb (ADSL speed) with 02/Sky etc via LLU?
Thanks

Been doing some reading - i'll have to send my old box back and then get a new O2 one.. which will be identical except for some functionality cut back (i don't use VOIP anyway....)0

o2 maximum transfer is horrible ~ 3gb if i remember correctly. Be There don't limit you!£8k to pay off before Jan 2011! Was 28k to pay off by Jan 2010 though so I'm happy0

Apparently there's no download limit... not going to be so happy since i downloaded about 2gb yesterday... 3gb won't cut it0

Sorry if I'm barking up the wrong tree but I thought 02 had no download limits?
or is transfer limit something else? - If so can you explain please as I'm a potential 02 customer.0 -

So I'm just switching from Nildram (Pipex) to O2. Your link tells me that my area is NOT Pipex LLU enabled, but is Be LLU enabled.
I currently get about 3Mbps from Nildram; does this mean I'm likely to get more from O2? Or is it more down to the distance from the exchange and the local line?Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world
