Shez (and Essex girl) Huge ((HUGS)) i so know how you feel at the moment - i stay positive all the time to my friends and family, so its a great relief to have a moan on here sometimes!!!

Busy girl - yes, DS is year 6 (and now the oldest child in the whole school, which he is incredibly proud of!!) we are only putting him down for our local comp, and going tonight as they will be showing us around so it will be nice to see where he will be going. He isnt going to do his 11+ (although he is bright enough) as all his friends are going to the local school, and he wants to stay with them and with DD still at primary (shes year 5) it makes it easier all round if he goes there. We are lucky its a very good school, it specialises in Maths, science and IT and has a very good reputation - i just hope its true!!!

Shez - Chin up - I know just how you feel - having one of those days myself.

Tried to get one of the £1 rooms at Hoxton hotels at lunch time - got through first time - got the date I wanted but it crashed before I could confirm and by the time I'd got back in they'd all gone  I just wanted to be able to surprise DH for his birthday, I feel so guilty about booking something or buying something for "his" birthday, when the money for it comes from "his" account......not that he sees it that way - just feel that I should be bringing more money into the house - but one of those catch 22 situations where by the time I'd paid for childcare and travel I'd have to be working full time and earning over £20k to make it worth my while.......although I do appreciate being at home, sometimes it's fustrating as hell.

Ok moan over - someone give me a swift kick up the backside or find out where the motivation is hiding please.
