Hello it is a long time since I have been round these parts!

I'd like to join in please. My target for this month is 200 which I have just gone over, I'm only saying that target as 310 seems out of reach for now.

I have been doing my own little make #10 (my pound sign not working - arrrrrgh) a day since the start of the month and I thought it was about time I joined in - and take inspiration from all of you clever people xx To be honest I am happy with any amount at the moment and feel that 10 a day this month on top of everything else I have to do may be a little out of reach.

This is where I am so far in July

    81 - ebay
40 - cash job payment (all above board :) )
5 - found nectar card and took it off shopping
30 - found M&S and Boots gift card
5 - bagged up 10ps collected in big tidy up
8 - cashed in some Mexican money lying around for years
6 - sale on local facebook selling group
    3.50 - cash for clothes
    25 - Top Cashback
    total so far: 203.50

These are the steps I have taken to help bring in a little more towards the end of this month and into August:

I have started to get stuff together for a car boot sale
I have 16 listings on ebay (mix of auction and buy it now - low/mixed interest so far :) )
I have signed up for 5 mystery shopping assignments (together worth 56 in pay and reimbursements)
I have started to collect all the change hanging round in various rooms and handbags and am going to ask the bank for bags so I can pay in to my account.

thanks for running this thread and look forward to catching up with it all xx

Welcome back too from me, MrsCautious:beer:. I don't think I 'met' when you were here before, I joined after that time. That's a good list of moneymaking that you've already done:T. Here's to success at the car boot sale:beer:

Well done on the tips, Kantankrus:beer:. Maybe the start of the school holidays has something to do with people eating out more. Long may it continue for you, although I know from limited waitressing experience many years ago that extra work and tips comes with a price on the feet:eek:

Just received a payment from Prolific of £22.80:j and the £12.75 from eBay. Someone messaged me this morning about another of my items (a BIN) and said she would definitely be buying it when she got her Paypal verification.sorted out and could I hold it for her? She's new to eBay, no feedback yet:eek:. I haven't replied as I'm not sure what to do about it. I imagine it will sell quite quickly and the person who messaged me might never come back and finalise the sale anyway. Not sure how I can 'hold' it anyway apart from remove it from sale. As it is, listing it when the offer was on means free final valuation fees and it's a £50 item. I don't want to have to relist it later and pay fees.

Hello, I am adding £27 to my total so far as this is what I think may be called 'housekill' :) that I have rescued from drawers, old battered handbags, my car boot even, over some months. I asked my daughter to pick me up some cash bags as she was in the post office as the coins had been lying around in a pot for ages! I have sat and counted it, there is more than that but I am counting what I have put in the bags and will pay into my bank tomorrow. Sorry if this is a boring post. I just got myself organised to do this at last spurred on by this challenge.

I used to have Qmee and have just downloaded - have notched up 39p so far - thank you to the members here who have reminded me.
  • An excellent day for tips today.....£13.50!! Been quite busy again and think you are right CBC......its the beginning of the kids hols here but strangely enough, its not all been people with their "little darlings " coming in.

Last couple of days have been tiring though. 12 - 9 non stop on my feet with a fifteen minute break for grub. Not so much my feet but my back is aching. :( Usually done for half seven but busy evenings have been making it a long night.)

Also a fiver M & S giftcard arrived from mail rewards.

    Day off tomorrow. :D

Morning all - another £42 to add, thanks to decluttering and Facebook buy/sell groups.

Well done on the Mail Rewards gift card:T. I know they are set to change over to Nectar in August and if it's right at the start of the month I will miss out on having enough Mail reward points to claim my last Morrisons voucher:mad:

Enjoy your day off:beer:. Have a bit of a rest if you can, but if last time was anything to go by you were twice as busy as you are when you're at work:rotfl:
