Well done everyone else x Never thought I'd hit my target so happy
Still waiting for £10 amazon to come through (That's why my sig doesn't match here)0 -
I've sold £25 of bulky stuff on Facebook tonight and arranged to deliver/have things picked up tomorrow. I've sold items very cheap but checked how much you could get them on eBay for before deciding how much. I am pleased with myself as I'd been wanting to get things listed for ages. I hope I can add the money tomorrow so long as everyone pays/turns up/is in etc.
As I only gave myself a kick up the bum a few days ago to commit to joining in I have to be pleased with how I'm doing. I'm hoping that if I manage a car boot sale on Sunday and some of my items go okay over the weekend I could just about hit the £10 a day average but I'm going to tell myself to be happy with my total whatever it is. Especially as I have had a week away this month.
I'd like to check up on interest and cashback in a Santander 123 account - likely to be minuscule but every little helps x0 -
MrsCautious, I am trying to remember you. Are you the member who had her own website?0

sorry carbootcrazy, its the holidays and I have been trying and failing to keep DS entertained. We have had issues with DH's car, that went in monday, he took my car. Wednesday he decided his car wasnt safe to drive and has had mine for the rest of the time. I won't get it back until Tuesday.
DS hasn't seen much of his friends as they aren't around much or abroad. So it's all down to me to keep him entertained. It's fine having no car when the places he wants to go to are accessible by public transport. When they are not, it's not happening.
So I have been making money and trying to calculate it all today. its a bit of mess and I really need to stay on top of my moneymaking and calculate where it is all coming from.0 -
well done to everybody. you are all amazing, have been reading when I can and amazing amounts, targets smashed!:j:T:T0

No but I wouldn't expect you to remember me in a million years! I was on here before months after my husband died. People were very kind, I was raising money to pay for my daughters and me to go to South Africa to do some charity work. It was such an experience. I stayed on the MSE forums for a fair bit as I had a period of time when I didn't pay myself anything from work xx
I threw myself back into work again with my best friend and business partner. Sadly she died a few months ago and I'm proper heartbroken again. Something about the money making stuff helps me in these difficult times x0 -

I do remember you! I got it mixed up about the website. I remember what it was that you did.
I'm glad you and your daughters goto go South Africa. amazing memories and experience.
So sorry to hear about your best friend, my condolences to you.
I find moneymaking a good distraction. It's the having to concentrate on something else and making it work for you, it helps you to forget temporarily.

Well that is very kind of you to say! I agree about the distraction but it's also rewarding to get things done I think.
I'm sort of remembering what I enjoy doing and letting myself do it.
Attempting to raise up to £310 on top of my earnings seems to be one of those things.
Thank you Aesop - I hope your summer can be a fun one overall.0 -
