I'm sure I remember you too. So sorry to hear you have had more loss to deal with. Life can be so cruel. Sending hugs xx

Thank you so much that is very kind of you. I'm counting my blessings for all the good things in my life - my daughters will be moving away in September, this is unsettling me, I know I will be okay but another reason to focus on money and de clutter.

finally sold my rocking chairs on facebook - husband collected today for £10 cash. Less than I wanted but had to say yes as long as you collect.

I love having a rocking chair but the design of our house is not practical for one, and to be honest wasn't keen on the design of this one.

one day I will own one I love.

I sent stuff off to MusicMagpie so hopefully some money coming next week from them. After that I moved boxes and found more stuff!

My lego is selling slowly and steadily. I sold 2 pieces yesterday, one before midnight. that will get posted today.

I have problems with giffgaff i have no internet, no calls in or out.:mad::mad:

there is a problem with giffgaff in general.

but mine is a different reason, they finally messaged me to tell me my account was suspended :rotfl::rotfl: I have told them why.

  • I hope everyone having connection problems gets them sorted permanently soon. I hate having unreliable connections:(

I'm intrigued about your Lego, Aesop. Do you sell it in individual pieces?

I'm doing better than I expected this time with trying to get my books accepted by WBB and Ziffit. They both actually want some of them for a change:j. Have saved my 'trade' for the time being and will hopefully get it finalised tonight after I fetch OH home from hospital. Not going to get rich from the proceeds but every little helps and it's more space gained in the spare room:T

no its packets of lego, ie characters or boats or snakes....

unopened packets as I wouldnt let DS play with it. he was at the age he would use them as trains and spread all the tiny pieces all over the house. now he wants to keep and build them but once again where do we keep it all? and as we are going to be moving I cant keep it. trying to minimise his room as much as possible.

good luck with your items. hope OH is feeling ok.

Hi all, sorry to see the sad news some of you have had lately. :( sending love and hugs to all those who need it.

I have been in A&E with DS1 this week as he is a clumsy lad... Luckily no breaks this time...

Today has finally seen me get onto fleabay and make a start clearing the mountain of "eBay stuff"... Do other people do piles that are too good to bin / car boot in the hope of squeezing max cash off eBay??? I have things that have been in there for over four years though...since before we moved house!! I really must get cracking on it... Doing shoes today... Seem to have a lot of outgrown ones in the boxes! Consumerism sucks!

Good luck everyone on the final push for this month. All my listings will be next months money... But a few Facebook listings might see me squeeze a little bit extra in... Plus I'm off reduced bin grocery shopping this evening in the hope of doing the next week cheaply again... X

Another £24 - eBay and Facebook. Boom.
  • Woohoo... a facebay sale for £20 (the satnav from the car I had to scrap) and a £6 scratch card win... not much in the Morrisons 9p stuff tonight so grocery bill was quite high however I am now up to a lovely £1298.62 for July... hoping tomorrow sees another facebay sale as I would love to round it up... £1.38 is my target for tomorrow to make it up...
