Good Evening All
Well today feels like a bit of a write-off:
Checked Bank & made PAD
RM Survey combined with brisk walk to tramstop
DH used his pensioners bus pass - saved £4
Bought DH new sunglasses from Boots and used my points - saved £39
Called at John Lewis and had our free hot drinks and cakes (voucher ran out today) - saved £10
Felt absolutely rubbish when back from town so laid down, fell asleep and didn't wake till 5.30
Felt even worse after opening post and discovering that following my recent (yearly) smear I need a hospital appointment for further investigation (just feel like its one issue after another, having low immunity is the real pits, infection markers are increasing and I have no idea what if anything I can do
)
Entered a couple of comps
Check: Luckyphone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL -
Just sat relaxing and watching my favourite programme "Salvage Hunters", will probably watch Gardeners World and be in bed early.
Night all

Sorry to hear things are not good health wise, Ziggyand Foxgloves
I didn't get much further on my list other than sweeping the garden as I fell asleep from 3pm to 7pm, must have needed it though.
Second lot of washing is in.
DS is out with his friends and I can't be bothered to cook just for me so I will probably just have a sandwich. I will also pop to the small Mr T for cream for my YS strawberries.
I have just bought a gorgeous stone planter for £6 on eBay. It is in Kent but I was planning on taking my mum to the seaside one day next week so I can pick it up on the way.

Good morning everyone, cannot believe it is July 1st
I have been following along, a bit out of action again but jumping back in today. Have got to work, not really in the mood and it's going to be a long day with lots of travelling, but I know it will be good when I get there and the best bit-my lunch is paid for:T
I'm going to take a flask with me as well so I'm not really tempted on any extra spends.
It sounds like a lot of you guys are having a bit of a rough time, or needing that extra rest at the minute, I'm a fine one to talk but looking after number 1 is important which allows u to look after others.......if only I took my only advice:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My niece has a significant birthday this year and I always promised her a designer hand bag-my big mouth:D
She is having a tough time, is going to have to take time out of uni for a transplant so had a hunt round yesterday using the monies put aside that I would have originally used for the IVA
Managed to get one from one of the designers she likes in a sale with a further 20% and did it thru a cashback site so it worked out a lot better than I expected. Extra savings can be channelled into operation back bedroom.
Dying to book my flights for Prague for Christmas, at one time I would have been reckless and just gone ahead and booked them but I knew that my niece's birthday took priority and flights have to wait and budgeted for..........how times have changed my thinking.
DD has been on fire with YS this week, we needed milk and DD came home with 2 litres of organic milk for 9p.,also got bread for 9p.
When energies fully come back I need a trip to h@me b@rgains for storage boxes but motivation has seriously been lacking.
Have a good day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning all.
I've been awake for a while, nobody told the cats it was the weekend, but feeling a bit bleugh. I got up, fed the little critters, made a cup of tea and came back to bed and have just been browsing eBay. Its my birthday soon and I have found a lovely wall sconce that would look fab in my garden which I may ask my mum to buy me.
There are things to carry over from yesterday's list but there's no hurry to do some of them as I have next week off.
I bought some eggs last night and as part of my 'eating from the freezer' week I have defrosted some YS Parma ham which I will cook (I know you aren't supposed to!) to scramble them into for lunch.
I may pop to my mum's today to sort her computer (she has realised she's been holding the mouse the wrong way up so that's progress of sorts!) I was going to go tomorrow but I'd like to ke to stay home tomorrow to clean the kitchen in preparation for my new dishwasher :T
I may make a pilgrimage to my favourite garden centre to check out the dead and dying stuff as they reduce the prices enormously.
I will also take a trip to check out the pallets down the road to see if there are three of the type I have in mind for a new coffee table.
I suppose I'd better get on with some of it then, have a good day all

((Hugs)) to Ziggy and Foxgloves. Hopefully we will all get these hospital appointments out of the way in July and be able to enjoy the rest of the summer :T
OH has gone out today, to an event I was not interested in attending (involving lots of noisy smelly old machines), so a nice peaceful day at home for me
So far I have:
Finished the last of the HG strawberries with my breakfast cereal
Pegged a load of washing out on the line
Got a cake in the oven Nice fruit cake
Tidied kitchen
Started to sort /tidy storage trunks upstairs, already found some stuff that can go to the CS
Texted DS to ask him to come and sort out / pick up his stuff. It is currently piled up unattractively under the velux windows in the spare bedroom. I have offered to take what he doesn't want to the CS  He did! Just left an old TV unit which is being collected by a freecycler on Tuesday
Stopped for a coffee
Still to do:
Finish sorting out storage trunks Done
Put away a couple of sales items that didn't get done yesterday Done
Bit of business paperwork I have been putting off
Still not done
Another load of washing Done, dry, must get it in shortly
All food from home, minimal cooking as I have HM chilli in the fridge :T Done
Go through fridge to see what else needs using /freezing Oops, still to do!
Any surveys (there aren't usually many at weekends) Just a prize draw one for Yougov. Don't usually bother with these, as I have never in my life won a prize, except at school :rotfl:
Water anything that needs it in the garden. It is cloudy and looks like rain all the time, but doesn't actually rain! Watered the raspberries, and also the flowers in pots in the front garden
Dog walk later Done
Better get on with sorting the fridge and the paperwork!

Hi everyone
Sending all my love to those who need some extra TLC.:smileyhea
I can't believe it is July already! My mortgage is up for renewal in September so it's time to start going through all of that again. I think we will go for a longer fixed price deal this time as 2y comes around too quickly  and I can't be bothered with the hassle of reapplying
I kinda don't want to apply until I know if/what my bonus will be at the end of July.
I've found a new park to take the dog to today so we'll see how that goes - free entry community gardens place. Nice to get out in nature - good for the soul!
Then it's time to get the house in order... (as always!!)
Spent £100 of my hard earned cash this morning on a new car windscreen. Thankfully had £150 in the car maintenance fund...
Right, best go and get ready - get this show on the road!0 -
