Whos to blame car accident

You have a right to have the repairs done at a garage of your choosing, if you're happy to go with the TP insurer's choice then fine but depending on the age of your car I'd be leaning toward the main dealer's authorised bodyshop. Don't listen to lluzers advice, no insurer is going to authorise repairs to any existing damage other than what's a direct result of the accident.I have fully received from the 3rd party's insurance by email confirming they admit full liability of the situation, i made sure i got it 100% in writing straight away, I will mention that to there insurance about wanting the panels replaced not repaired and any scratchs or marks to be fixed so its as off new
Thanks for your input very lucky for them to agree to full liabilty
One thing to be aware of with going with the TP insurer is you're not covered under the FOS should things go wrong.0 -

What do you understand by this?
Who said , get other old damages repaired ?
Also take photographs of other dents and scratches on other sides , just in case it comes back after repairs , with damage in garage.0 -

OP. If you are fully comp, go through your insurer. I had a bump, other party admitted via insurer, then the fan got hit. I had legal and eventually won. Other party was only 3rd party!!0
