Whos to blame car accident
Comments
-
It honestly happend so quickly, I had literally 1 second to react, and i slammed the breaks on, instantly , the view infront is very limited especially how busy the road was at the time, Whatever will be will be but i really hope i am not to blame for this, If it could of been avoided it would of been especially with my children in the car i would never purposely put them at risk
Until the respective insurance parties come to some resolve, then there is little point worrying about it.
Whether you are to blame or not from the insurance, it is an incident you will have to declare for at least 3 renewals.0 -
Agreed i will try not worry now whatever will be will be, Surely if im not at faultt, It wont affect my price? I just spoke with My breakdown cover driver Who said it completely lies with them cutting across me as i was already on the roundabout and have to give way to the right on a roundabout0

If you are found to be in the clear, then you won't have to pay your excess, and your no-claims will be untouched.
BUT remember how insurers ask if you've been involved in any claims/collisions/losses in the last five years? Your base premium is definitely going to go up as a result.0 -
Damn, sure that would be minimum, the main effect to me will be losing my no claims0

To be fair the size of the roundabout, both parties can already be on the roundabout and it's not the recovery guy or the attending officer that will be dealing with the claim, so they can whatever they wish.0 -
So basically your saying they are in the wrong, And im going to be at fault?0

I couldn't say who's going to be in the wrong as 1) I wasn't there 2) It's not me who will do the final arbituation.
After all the other party is probably saying he was on the roundabout and a car came from the right and hit his drivers door whilst attempting to exit the roundabout whilst it wasn't clear to do so.
From what you have written and the diagrams posted, it's a tough one to call and the financial option for the underwriters is 50/50.0 -
