Don't mock me, this works.... I've got a ton of dandelions in the garden that needed digging up. I'm not a gardener. I had bought a little pointy poking stick 3-4 years ago that worked in a fashion, "tool for the job" and all that. Well, I had a quick look for that and couldn't find it, but I did have a set of three smallish crowbars....

I used the largest of those, which had a good handle and about a 15" shaft - and it just slid into the ground, one flip up and each lifted seamlessly! Crowbars for weeding is my tip of the day. I went round and did the whole lot effortlessly (about 40+ of them). A job well done.

Just tried to Google them, they're called pry bars. I bought them when I had my stuff in storage as the containers can be quite tight to open.... they weren't expensive. Not used them since, so it's good I found another use :)
I always wanted one of the lawn weeder tools that you could do while standing up but they are 30 quid......40 dandelions would be about 5% of our 'lawn' :(
    I think....

Can I add myself to the list of NPs who've had a colonoscopy?

Thanks to silvercar and Singlesue for their highlighting its importance.

    The dandelion idea is genius!

Nettles I just clip them off close to the ground with little clippers.... drop them into the bucket and chomp them up with the clippers to make them smaller :)

Having got them close to the ground, I bet the pry bar would work on those root bits. Haven't tried. Will try in the coming days and let you know.

since things have been moving along, it's been a little mentally exhausting going through this process and I set out from the start to be as detached as possible from the transaction,

I haven't been on much lately as I've been rather busy with other things so I suspect I've missed something important - does the above, plus what appears to be an increase in your house-hunting activity, mean that you've got a buyer?

Yes, just over a week ago.

Congratulations. Hope the rest of it goes smoothly - and that you find somewhere else that ticks sufficient boxes before too long.

1 local agent asking if I have considered relaunching my property.

Wonder what it was that made them think it's a boat :D

It must be the photo of my £1million yacht parked in my boathouse on my private dock in the photos.

You mean the bath duck that you forgot to hide away?

As they say ... "Not really, it's quite old now. Anybody can have a £1million boat kicking around if they want to. Clearly, others simply didn't work hard enough ... did you" :)

Because that's how the wealthy think :)

Or have a big enough loan. :p
Yots are very nice, but I prefer mine to have proper injins.

And no, I didn't work hard enough for a million pound anything.
