It's belting down with rain right now, which is not a problem as we are indoors, but DS is taking part in the half marathon at Wimbledon. They are all going to get very cold, plus it's going to be very slippery.
We were going to watch him finish, but I'm not sure we can summon up the willpower!

I go on the Student room forum a lot and the expectations/attitudes now are horrendous. A girl not wanting to 'put out' is not suitable girlfriend material, is frigid, ripe to be made an object of ridicule, a girl not wanting to give a blow job is not worthy etc etc.
My niece had an issue with her (now ex) boyfriend. He said all the right things about respecting her, about being willing to wait until she was ready but when they got a couple of dates in and she still hadn't slept with him, dropped her like a stone and told all his mates that she was frigid, who in turn told all of their mates and before she knew it, it was around the school that she was frigid and she became persona non grata and someone to be bullied.
She had only just turned 16 at the time.
I never thought I'd ever say this, but maybe there's something to be said for all-girls' schools after all.
They wouldn't have to put up with all that carp during the day at least.(I just lurve spiders!)

Belting down here too, endless.
That's "the trouble" with weather - it's too wet/windy most of the time and you can't plan/enjoy much.
We all need bigger houses and more indoor events in huge hangers/large spaces.
I'd not run in any weather... marathon??? pfft.0 -

Not raining here....yet!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Pouring down here, has been since in the night. With regard to the inappropriate behaviour of young boys, surely it has something to do with the way we parent them too?Spend less now, work less later.0
