Wash it ourselves by hand ourselves, probably 4x pa. The interior is the worst, dw and dks treat it as a dustbin.
    I think....

Just a thought, Pastures. If you nail some of this stuff to the fence, it will be no good for kicking balls against. Nail it very loosely so the ball, instead of making a satisfying kaboom when hitting the fence, just drops down or bounces off at an odd angle.

Might be available at the Pound shop?

PS Nail it on badly, with many ball-destroying nail heads showing. That would be bad luck if the ball gets punctured.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

We invited our former neighbour, about the same age as Lydia's Aged Pa but not as well preserved, to the wedding. His house had the reputation of being the noisiest house in the road. That is until we moved in, of course. I think we still have that accolade, even though our youngest is mid 20s.

It's not about noise, nor "playing"... it's about nuisance, bad behaviour, vandalism, trespass, theft, disrespect and fearing what on earth they'll get up to next that's part of the above behaviours.

If they were noisy and playing - legally and safely - that's not the issue. But they are a seething mass of unruly illegal and bad behaviour. And, therefore, products of homes where this isn't seen to be a problem.

Is it partly the general 'not-rightness' that bothers you? The fact they are playing next to or on a busy road is not really a problem for you directly. If a couple of them get run over, it might be unpleasant to look at, but you could console yourself that they are doing their best to improve the human genome.

Maybe, you should encourage this? Buy sweets and scatter them in the roadway.

Please don't provide excellent solutions... :)

I bet if I popped out after dark and superglued some shiny £1 coins to the middle of the road .... it'd also work. And be something perpetually in place.

What an amazing WDYTYA. I think that was one of my favourite episodes ever.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I fell asleep 10 minutes in and woke up 5 minutes from the end.
So I got it on catchup .... and fell asleep ....

I've probably watched about half of it if you add the bits up.
