    I think it's stopped.

    Ah - and as I typed that there was another flash....then thunder. It's about 7 miles away.

    I told you it rained....

    Over the weekend I'd cut the grass and gathered up hedge clippings, so today I took them to the tip. When I came back I washed out the bucket and left it upside down on the grass to drip dry. Later on I turned it over and put it on the patio. So it was definitely 100% empty and dry. I just had a walk around outside and noticed it had a lot of water in it, so I measured it - between 1.75" and 2" (4.5-5cm)

    Fire engine going past on the main road (making that strange honking noise like you hear American ones do in 9/11 videos) .... and lots more sirens... wonder if something was hit.

    Coverack, in Cornwall, was - a flash flood and huuuge hailstones;

    Pyxis I hope Luna didn't think she wasn't wanted because she (assuming it's a she by the username) didn't get a quick reply. There didn't seem to be any of us except me around at the time and I wasn't feeling up typing a reply when I saw her post.

    Hopefully she'll come back.

    We seem to be on the edge of a storm, a few flashes and bangs and about 2 mins of rain so far

    I got caught in the storm. I don't think I've ever been so wet. I was wearing a maxi dress and it just kept getting longer with all the water.

    Got in and had a shower, even the power shower didn't emit water at that rate.
    Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    It's not hit us yet (been a gorgeous day)....but we are expecting at least some of the storms, probably in the middle of the night.
    We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
    Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
