Not a posh alert, quite the opposite, but we have three freezers, needed for all the produce we grow and bulk cooking and all that.

Same here. I have a medium size chest freezer, a larger chest freezer and the bottom half of a 5' fridge freezer - for much the same reasons.

I do, however, still have to actually produce enough crops to fill them - hopefully the work I did on the veggie beds last autumn will come good and the crop yield/quality improve. Time will tell.

I have doggy doo again .... but as it's somewhere a little different I wasn't watching that spot, so don't know if it's Saturday's or Friday's (looks freshish).

    grrrr

We've very recently unstalled a Nest Outside camera on a project. In two weeks we've caught:
our site manager spending 40 minutes trying to get into his flat, drunk, and falling over. The neighbours had to come and let him in as he couldn't work his key.
Someone breaking the wing mirror off our van and driving off.
5am this morning, someone helping themselves to the contents of a Volvo parked outside.
9.40 this morning, the policeman arriving after we called them.

Probably out of your budget but it's easy to install and alerts you when it sees someone.

    Gotta love London

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Thanks Viva, I do enjoy a little flutter very occasionally. Might a risk fiver each way, it'll make it more interesting if I end up watching it!

Fed up. Power was off last night due to a power cut. Has been off again since 4pm due to another power cut. Was due to go back on between 6.30;and 7.30, but have hit a water pipe, so now the power company needs the water company to come to site to make the pipe safe, before they can make the electricity safe and put the power back on. Could be any length of time.

I don't have any such box, but I do have a couple of those cheap/plastic LED battery lights that I keep on the floor under the fusebox ... because that's where I'd want to use them if I ever needed to look to see if a switch had tripped.
