Three; one gas, one portable electric halogen and one microwave - none built in to look fancy ;)

I guess I'd assumed the answer would be referring solely to "actual proper ovens", so not a halogen or microwave or any table-top or worktop or similar. So you've one under what I'd assumed an answer to contain.

We only have 2 built in but actually always use a standalone 40l micro/halogen/conventional as with the fan and large turntable and micro it cooks evenly and quickly.
    I think....

Our main electric cooker has two ovens, and I have a microwave too.
Spend less now, work less later.

We have one oven. I assume Orthodox Jewish people have two?

I can't see why anyone would need to have a whole bank of them, except for people like the family in the article who "regularly entertain 50 people". Each to their own, I guess. If they can afford it and it makes them happy, why not? :)

Ooh, silvercar, I do like that!

    Only one oven, a built-under.

As I really do proper oven cooking these days, it would be useful to have two, with one being smaller.

Also, if I ever get another one, I'd like a high-level grill. I find both the oven and the microwave is useless for grilling.....it takes forever. The oven is dreadful...... you have to keep the door closed while grilling, and because it's so low, you can't just glance and see how it's doing......it take forever and ever and ever and then suddenly, it's burnt.:(

Oh, and I'd go back to a gas oven.
(I have a gas hob, and just thought I'd hedge my bets regarding power cuts if I had one of each, e.g. Gas hob, electric oven, but I don't like it. You can't put anything on the floor of the oven as it has an element in it).

It depends what, how often and how bothered you are .... but if it's cheese on toast a mini toaster oven would do the trick for £30 or so from L1dl when they next sell them. As light as a toaster, so easy to move around if you're short of worktop space but have spare storage space for it when not in use.

I do all my oven cooking in mine ... from Xmas dinner and pies, to pizzas and part baked baguettes ... and cheese on toast.... giant yorkshire puddings, oven chips. It's just a very small oven for 1 and dead quick, I never pre-heat a thing. Hot sausage rolls from cold 10 minutes and "ping".... which is great as it turns itself off.

Oh, and I'd go back to a gas oven.

I bought the gas cooker from the vendor when I moved - complete with a high level grill. I much prefer it to the gas hob and electric oven I had back at the flat, to the extent that I didn't even keep my old electric pop-up toaster.
When/if it needs replacing, it'll be with another gas cooker with a high grill, that's for sure.

The electric halogen oven I also have (a big glass pot with the heating unit on top) is handy for certain things, as well as for an "overflow" oven - it does frozen roasted spuds beautifully but most things get done in the gas oven.

My microwave does have a grill, but I don't use it for that any more, just nuking things. I used to do my cheese-on-toast in it when I only had the low level grill in the 'leccy oven.

I have one cooker with a double oven.

Years ago I had a range cooker, it was amazing and it meant the Christmas mince pies, party buffets etc were done in no time as I could get enormous quantities in and cooking at the same time.

Josh is having a wobble, the senior lecturer on his course who is also his personal tutor and someone Josh really respected and liked (and credits with helping him to get back on track and back at uni after his mental health issues last year), died suddenly yesterday.

He also got a result back from an assignment yesterday and such as his standards have changed, was disappointed with the result (previously he would have been over the moon with it - he's on for a 2.1 in that module), in his grief though, he misconstrued what the feedback was saying and thought it was saying about a lack of technical knowledge when in fact it was saying the complete opposite! By the time I got to speak to him, he had got himself in a right state.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I do not think there is any need for more than one, from a religious point of view.. That is all we have, anyway.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
