I have 12, clearly a light weight.
If you run out there are plenty of substitutes eg tissues, kitchen roll before you need to start cutting up newspaper.
The future is toilet roll free. Toilets will become more sophisticated with water jets and air dryers.
oh God, don't use that! You are liable to block the loo!
Tissues and kitchen roll don't dissolve in water like loo-paper does! It could turn to papier-mâchè in the pipes!
Do an experiment..... put water in the washbasin, and put a couple of sheets of loo paper, a tissue and a piece of kitchen roll in and leave it for half an hour.
Then go and see what has become of it all.(I just lurve spiders!)

I was going to say that - loo roll is made especially to disintegrate in water, to prevent the pipes blocking up.
I think the count of 29+110 rolls is the winner! I felt a bit embarrassed owning up to 3-4 18-packs .... now I just feel completely "normal"0 -

In the 30+ years I have been buying loo roll we have never run out. Even though my stock pile is usually under 15 rolls. Don't panic!

It is very windy here. Huge noise from back garden, but certainly not going out to investigate. I think I may either have a loose fence panel, or the trampoline in the back garden adjacent to my back fence is trying to mate with my fence. I cannot, however, hear anyone shouting "trampoline!"Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Oh! TRAMPOLINE! :rotfl:
I have a feeling that the family weekend in Devon for my big birthday might be scuppered. Seem to be having quite a spectacular run of bad luck. At least it's only stuff/money.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Although I got close, I have never run out either....I'm usually a stock piler of loo roll but money has been far too tight of late and I've had to use what I had.
The village school is also now closed tomorrow, they never close. I've lived near it for almost 20 years, James went there from reception to year 6 (Josh playgroup, nursery and up until year 3, Joe playgroup, nursery and a few months of reception) and they have never closed due to adverse weather in all that time.
My weird phobia is my freezer. I can have money in the bank and money in my purse but if my freezer is looking a little light I go into a panic. We used to run it down before we went away on holiday and defrost it while away (his mum used to sort it out for us as she would be in to feed the cat etc) and it always sent me into panic mode and a depressive state seeing it emptying. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Happy Birthday Doozer!
That sucks re birthday weather. Accuweather for here in Herts says travel will be dangerous today, and we're only under the yellow alert area, so take care and stay safe. Hopefully the good luck will be along soon. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
