Oh I didn't know Huggies were wipes!
Still a bit confused, though.
Andrew and Sainsbury's both make personal hygiene wipes, so why use baby wipes? (They say 'flushable' but they're not, as they don't disintegrate, so you'd still need a bin etc.). I do use them occasionally.
And why does it save money? Confused dot com.
The so-called flushable wipes still clog up the sewers, so you can't flush them without a guilty conscience. We've tried other brands, and Huggies are much better.
They are surprisingly un-yukky. They must have something in to stop them smelling. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Here's the trampoline video for Pyxis. Still makes me laugh!

You can hear the woman in the background saying "Oh, you're pished" :rotfl:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I don't bother with birthdays, in that they come/go without notice.
I get a card, for now ... and that's it.
Even years ago I never got much more than that. Card/small gift from mum/dad/sibling ... birthday over. Never went out for a meal, or an event, or away, or anything. Just a card/gift and the words "happy birthday".
I guess you could call me low maintenance
I thought everybody did just that.... card/small gift and that's your lot once you're an adult.0 -

I subscribe to Jacquie Lawson's online cards. They are all animated and very, very nice. Hundreds of different ones, with new ones coming out all the time. Not just birthdays and the obvious, but ones you could send for any reason.
For £9 a year, you can send as many as you like, and they can send you a reminder if a date is coming up.
I don't send paper cards any more, of any description, but it's a good way to let some people know you're thinking of them, or to say thank you, etc.
And the animations are set to music and are very tasteful.
I send myself one every year...... I book it well in advance so that I've forgotten what's coming, and it's a nice surprise!

Oh yes! Of course! I remember that now! The trampoline going out on a day trip! :rotfl:

It's WednesdayThank you for all the lovely wishes so far!
I'd planned a lovely new lodge with a hot tub and a spa for this weekend with my little tribe and the doglets. DD is very disappointed. I still have plenty planned for next week that will hopefully still go ahead. Not quite sure what to do this weekend now. I'm doing some work now so I'll have a think in a bit. Staying at home just means kids in their respective bedrooms.
The Saniflo engineer just made it to us (south of Birmingham, north of Worcester) from Swindon so the motorway network can't be too bad. It's just when the snow is falling that the major problems occur. My next door neighbour was stranded in Birmingham last night. She gave up on a journey that should take 30 minutes after 5 hours and found a hotel. My default position when this happens is just to stay put. We visited the in-laws to get a shower (another minor disaster in the house) and waited until 10pm to go home - which is when the traffic died down!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You mean that you send one to Teddy, as well?
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
No, but hey! that's a good idea! :rotfl:
Talking of wipes disposal, when I hosted some Chernobyl children, we were told to instruct them to put the loo paper down the loo. Apparently, in their flats they all use the macerator system with small bore pipes that can easily block, so at home they put all loo paper into a bathroom bin.
I also had to explain that the bidet wasn't a strange toilet!(I just lurve spiders!)

I'm clearly missing out on something. I have never bought wipes for any part of my body. Nobody has ever said I am unclean or smelly.
The whole idea of putting wipes in bins is yukky.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
