    Family snow reports.

Sister is in the red zone, lives in the countryside and reports that there is some snow visible in the cracks in the pavement.

Parent is in the amber zone, lives in a very built up area and has 4 foot of snow.

We have 6 inches of snow and its icy.

I'm clearly missing out on something. I have never bought wipes for any part of my body. Nobody has ever said I am unclean or smelly.

The whole idea of putting wipes in bins is yukky.

Apparently, doctors recommend cleaning with wet wipes.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I think you've done the right thing. They'll have the right skills, and they may well have background knowledge.

DOOFers definitely moved... it's up for rent, £1200.
What you get for that is 2 beds upstairs/bathroom.
1 en suite downstairs and one living/kitchen room downstairs.

I've peeked out the front window from upstairs. Usually my road has a rush hour of people driving down to their places of work (it's a dead end full of units) .... it's usually a rumbling from 6am of the occasional lorry, then a steady stream of cars for an hour or so of rush hour.

This morning nothing, I've not been aware of a single car moving on the road past my house. I did see one chap walking along the path though -slowly/badly and slipping ....silly teet had his hands in his pockets though! That's a sure way to break both arms and a nose as if he suddenly goes he can't try to save that - and he should have his arms outstretched to help with wobbliness.
Was like that in croydon at lunchtime, black ice, couldn't see it but boy was it slippery, I adopted the penguin walk, looked a prat, hands freezing but better than a broken elbow...

We now have about an inch, until lunchtime we had less than a centimeter from the whole 'cold snap'
    I think....

As part of our synagogue snow project, I have the phone numbers of 5 elderly people living in or near my road. I phone them on the second day of snow to check they are ok.

I have failed to convince one of them that I am not trying to sell them anything. :rotfl: , one is affronted by the idea that they need someone to check on them but the other three appreciate the call.
