I must be the only person to have an iPhone completely devoid of music.
My phone has no music on it too.co-op_lover wrote: »I don't like change
Me neither, I much prefer notes - the higher denomination the better :rotfl:0 -

Unless they include £150 notes?
Time for another viola joke?
Q What is the difference between a viola and a trampoline?
A You take your shoes off to jump on trampoline.
I've never heard viola jokes before! They are funny!
The viola seems to be the equivalent of the baritone in four-part A Cappella!
ie the butt of all the jokes!(I just lurve spiders!)

My phone is also devoid of music but it does have Facebook as that is an important part of marketing for my website. I conducted a little experiment last month and stopped doing one step of my marketing on Facebook (still completed the others on there though) and the result was dramatic - a reduction of almost 500k page views in just two weeks, a 20% reduction in new member sign ups and a similar number in viewer interaction (posts etc).
That one little step was always an afterthought, a tiny thing but obviously it isn't.
Now to complete the next step of research, the timing of doing that step and what difference it makes. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Next year, when you're an internet millionaire, people will be all over this thread, trying to pick up tips!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
That's very poor viva. No wonder your Mum was stressed about the situation.
Best wishes to them both.My Android has no music on it either. I see my phone as a tool, not a toy, so I don't have games or music or Facebook or anything not work tool related on it.
Mind you, the only game I have discovered I like playing on a computer is Solitaire.
Mine neither. The only game I play is one of the free online jigsaws.0 -
Hope all is well with your Dad Viva. And appalling to hear about your Mum Bugslet.
Something seriously broken in the system.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Viva, sending thoughts and hugs and prayers for your parents - and you of course.
About online games... I play several of these. I find them relaxing.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
PN, the taxi would, in all liklihood, have had locking doors while vehicle in motion. This is to prevent folk running off without paying but also stops kids on school run playing with the doors and falling out.
ETA additional needs children get taken to school by taxi round here.0 -

Is it me who has lost the plot or is it the camera making her look chunky, or is she simply in denial that she's a hefty bird?
I had a severely overweight doctor tell me I need to lose weight once. The younger me was tempted to say something, the me now is glad I didn't.
I have lost weight (I'm more than 20kg lighter than I was 7-8 years ago), however it's like stopping smoking; I'm not going to do it because someone tells me to do it, I'm going to do it because I want to.
Same with alcohol, although my consumption is down from about 1l spirits a week plus various meetings a week in pubs about 5 years ago, to about 1l every 2 weeks plus coke in pubs, which has probably helped significantly with the weight loss
ETA: Can I just clarify I meant cola (diet most the time actually), rather than cocaine.💙💛 💔0
