I think the outsourcing company is in a different part of the country so not really feasible unfortunately. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
An original song from middle son. None of the music you can hear was done with instruments, he used normal household items (e.g a tap running or a door closing) or everyday sounds (e.g a crunching crisp packet) and the cheapest and most non professional DAW programme. This was to prove that making music was possible without expensive equipment or programmes and thus accessible to all financial backgrounds.

Very good... OMG he appears to have made the most out of his 1st year at uni!!:D:D:D
My eldest hasn’t even got a partner! Well and truly lapped by his little brother.
Sorry to hear about the job news; could he apply to the outsourcing company.
My two youngest 25 and 26... are vey single... the youngest for 4 years... I am hoping one day I get grandchildren... but not holding my breathe!!PasturesNew wrote: »Man/van booked. I'd been to anyvan and you can put a shout out for quotes, and/or they have an automated quote thing.... on there you pick what you've got. Then it shows you an instant price. I binned that idea when the price kept creeping up every time I remembered something else.
Called a local man/van - he's just been. £50/hour, he reckons it'll take 2-3 hours and he can take everything I've got (with loads of room spare).
So that's working out a good price. So booked it.
I think I am getting more stressed about your move, than I am about mine.... that is a good rate, you are more than on track... stop worrying, enjoy the experience x
PS I have a very large pan of stew ready if you fancy a bowl!100 -
He's actually just graduated, this track was part of his dissertation project (he has a complete EP to release).
I'll hasten to add that the experiences mentioned in the track are not just his! The lyrics came from replies to a dissertation survey earlier this year (he is very anti drugs for example) plus a couple of his own observations and experiences (mainly mental health). We made it! Any other young person I probably wouldn't but he has Aspergers and the poor begger has never been able to lie, even when it would have got him out of trouble...stuff just blurts out :rotfl:
It can go the other way, he also doesn't know how to lie to be tactful, so if you ask him if your bum looks big in something, he will tell you the absolute truth, no diplomacy, no tact :eek:We made it! Spent the weekend at a north London festival of ideas. I don't have any stake in it, but I wondered if some other NPs would have enjoyed it. There's two venues, the other's in Wales. Science, politics, music, comedy.
First festival I've every been to. I realised I belonged to the generations that was always too young then latterly, too old to go to festivals.
On another point, being this old does mean I can remember the last time the coffee companies tried to first coffee bags on us, which I see they're trying to do again. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I hope you didn't get too wet. It really bucketed down at lunchtime!
DW and I visited a couple of OpenhouseLondon properties. Very MSE.
We were going to walk around the City as it was a car free day, but the weather put paid to that idea.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
