I might need two containers.... still hoping it'll fit in one, but everywhere I look there's something to go in. The main thing is, until you've got it all in one spot you can't tell. There's an amount of stacking that can be done, but you have to work out what can go on top of what.... and still you spot one more thing :)

Not even emptied under the stairs yet, or the shed... or the kitchen cabinets.

    One is 8'x8'.

EDIT: I'm really just rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. I'm opening a box I'd previously "packed in haste just to get things out of sight", then seeing if there's more stuff like that - and if it'd all be better off in a different box. I do believe I'm ending up with some empty boxes, but I'd not call it an achievement... but I am making the journey, as they say :)

Expecting three more pickups today... £2, £5, £15 if they come off.

So the nice people get to hear first, because there is protocol of telling people in the correct order.

    DS2 has just got engaged!

They are on holiday in California. He messaged my mother-in-law who is out and about and not checking her phone, so we can't say anything to anyone else! (If she doesn't hurry up he will not realise and post on Facebook tonight and she will hear from another grandchild!)

There's a long list. Most of those have never been in my lifestyle.

    I just need:
    Water/sewerage, BT, mobile, leccy/gas, insurances house/car.
    Banks. Vehicle. Dr/Dentist
eBay/Paypal - although not necessary until/if I buy something online that needs an address.
    Council Tax
    HMRC

The main "problem" is - no forwarding address, and/or variable addresses.

The stuff you'd just set to your parents' address ... until you're orphaned.

You can use Royal Mail Keepsafe (at a cost) so they keep your mail and you collect it from them. Saves having to update everything every time.

    Thanks all!

Still have to keep quiet, they went on a hike all day yesterday, so he hasn't told all his friends. They need to know before my friends (or they will hear from their parents).

MIL was at the cinema all afternoon, so had her phone switched off!
