I just phoned up the e2save customer services, but they told me the phone will be locked to the Vodafone network... does anyone know if that is correct?

EDIT: I just remembered I bought a Samsung E710 a while back and that was locked to Vodafone, even though it was a contract phone. I'm just taking a risk now that 02 doesn't lock their phones as I've got an order with mobileshop.com!

Is it me or have they just downgraded this offer to 7 months free? It was 8 months about an hour ago!

Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first ;)

Umer, the O2 phones are definetly not locked. My friend has put his Orange sim in it and it worked fine. Check stock with whoever you buy from first, as said friend was talking to Sony rep in O2 shop and he said that demand is far outstripping supply. He also said that CPW/E2save would be getting the bulk of the stock due to their buying power/quantity.

Been stories on here before about OSPS chaging there offers, not a lot you can do, maybe try writing in to them with proof and see what they say.

It does say 7 months free on the osps website now :(
There are other phones that now include 8 months free line rental but I guess that doesnt help those who were holding out for the K750!

    hi fatboyonadiet,

i rang them y'day and they said they'd ring back to take my order. nothing happened.
rang this morning 10.30 and was told 8 months free. i then checked website said 8 months.
went to place order at 12.15 and it were still 8 months but when she took details said it were 7 months. totally p*ssed me off.
first they didnt ring back yday as promised then they change the offer whilst i on phone.

i have screen shots of the site but they probably lie i called them yday and today.

oh well 7 months is good also but really annoyed that some1 can change so quickly

    thanks,

Maybe go for the 7 but write a letter of complaint too, quoting details and giving screenshots, if you happen to have names quote those too, worth a try for the cost of a stamp. Just put things in like you're upset and feel let down and had poor customer service etc normally works.
