Nokia 7600 on 3Pay + £15 calltime - only £44.99

As i understand it you simply buy the phone for 45 quid spend perhaps 15 pounds to get it unlocked and factory reset and then it can be sold on ebay. These phones are currently selling on ebay for about £200.

Is it really that simple to get a £140 profit or am i missing something?

the ebay value is now around £70-80 following a high street retailer shipping c.8k of the handsets a couple of weeks ago

Personally I doubt that many of the phones sold on ebay as "unlocked" will be able to use any sim, as I guess most have not had the reset to GSM

i got mine and its working hunky-dory,though to be fair im slightly underwhelmed by it in a few ways.it has its pros but it also has its cons.i'll keep my 3650 on standby.

a random question,what colour of cover has everyone been getting?i thought blue was the standard,but i got a pretty rotten looking gold.how much are new cases in the shops?they are going at less than a fiver on ebay

officially they are unlocked though so it is true to a point.

That said a lot of the people buying them in shop etc. are still under same impression that the unlock is one and the same. Not much people can do about it now.
